'Wahida put the Junkyard Dogg THUMP on this joint...'
Trae and Tasha are still laying it down in the bedroom, the hallway, the doorway, the club, wherever he wants it, she's got it for him. Pleasing her man is no obstacle for Trae's Tash. Three babies, a coastal move, now free of the game, this power couple is preparing to open Club New York and partner with Marvin and Tasha's cousin, new to the set, Stephon. Club New York awakens some inner demons, and darker sides of our favorite characters and their relationships. Kaylin's older brother, Kyron, has just been released from prison and proves to be an interesting mixture to the equation. Attorney Charli Baltimore, daughter of Don Charlie Baltimore has more than legal business on her mind as she openly embarks on getting a taste of a true thug. Undercover police Rick infiltrates the clique and adds a hint of suspense to this eventful read as well.Thug Lovin' is a spectacular story with mind altering dramatic scenes that hypnotize the readers with the visualistic plots. Wahida Clark has mos def penned a sensational novel that is destined to be a classic tale. Character development is exemplary, I found myself so caught up in this storyline that I had to put it down for a minute to catch my breath, the emotions are so visibly tangible. Although, I must admit the changes in our beloved characters prove to be challenging, but the delivery is exemplary. I received a galley in which my ending varied from the rest and I was speechless. Awesome, amazing, magnificent, extraordinary, are adjectives that come to MY mind when I think of Thug Lovin'. In being a Thug-Thug fan since 2005, I can truly say that I see an enormous amount of growth in this author while she still remains true to her thuggish addiction that thrills the reader. Usually, I don't give sequels 5 ***** no matter how good, but reflecting on the unpredictable yet adrenaline rush I received from this read, I couldn't give her anything less. I'd like to challenge Ms. Clark to find closure for the original four thugs and the ladies that love them, and show us what Omar and Bo are working with! Again, kudo's for a job well done!!!

I'm like Florida Evans from Good Times: DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!
Damn! I don't even know where to start! Well, first off, Hats off to my girl Wahida! She really out did herself on this one. Na, that's just me. I read a lot of books and I just gotta give credit where credit it due, She is the Queen ya'll-- The Queen of Thug Love Fiction. As much as I loved the characters and their roles from the past, I had to have an opened mind about the new lives that they all were living in Cali. So, I was sucked right into all of the non-stop drama that this story presented! It was so-oooo good! It was of the chain in my book. It deserves no less than 10 stars!I also would like to say that it was so very funny and I just love the way Wahida dialogues with the characters. You just feel like you are there and one of them. The sex scenes were off the hook too. I can not wait for the next book. I can see it being just as drama packed and will definitely be a "Best Seller" just like this one will be.Now as for as our favorite characters, Trae and Tasha, Man! I love that couple. I guess because I was forewarned that they weren't going to make it, that helped prepare me for the drama that unfolded between the two of them. I still know that they love each other and will some how get it back together. Now, I can't see it being like it was, but I know Wahida is going to make us love whatever creative way she decides to write the sequel to this one.You should not be scared to read this book because if you don't, you will be missing out on a treat and I really do mean it. This book is right up there with Every Thug Needs A Lady, in my opinion---but in a different and creative kinda way!Hat's off to Wahida Clark! Girl, keep doing your thang and keep them coming. Can't nobody do it like you in the Thug Lovin' Arena!!!!

Much Appreciation!!
First off I would like to say that while there are some of us who did not like the book, there are those that loved the book. I feel that while we all fell in love with the characters and their struggles, it seems that our beloved Wahida Clark chose to go this route with Book 4 simply because if the main characters were based off of real life people and relationships then yes she went the right route. I would have to think that the while it was enjoyable to see the parts of the Tasha, and trae that were rocky it was nice to see that they are a real couple that went through real issues. Now the thing is of course trae went through hell and high water to get tasha but he still loves her, and reality is these 4 couples are based off of someone from another time or another reality. I loved the twist and turns of THUG LOVIN, simply because for us readers these books can sometimes have us lost in reality and that is what this one did for me, I felt that I was a fly on the wall with the way tasha and trae were going at it. But in reality I felt that they both did however disrespect their marriage by cheating and trae was wrong for not allowing tasha to beat charli's half jamaican-chinese @$$ simply because it ain't nothing a true @$$ whoopin to let someone know who they dealing with. Right now I am on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what will happen to babygirl Ashia beause either Marvin needs to clean up and drop babygirl off at her auntie Tasha's or he needs to make sure she is being protected. Cause in reality he is violating the daddy code. For me this book was a must read, I recommend that if you have read books 1-3 then yes this book is the missing pieces of what happened to Tasha and trae while they were in Cali. Mrs. Wahida Clark please don't stop blessing us with your words and talent you are a true pioneer for breaking down the words the way you do.

I swear she's like the Shonda Rimes of novels. I'm a new reader to this series and heard about it through a friend. Omggggg I love love this series. My favorite charater by far is Angel and I'm actually a bit surprised I thought I would've rocked with Tasha the whole way through but NOPE sorry I can't condone the slackness.
