JVL 01-927BL Universal PVC Backed Carpet Car Mat Extreme Set, Black/Blue, 4 Pieces

At first quality seems good, however the major problem with it is that it slips, doesn't stay in place on the floor of my car. When driving downhill, it slips under the brake and accelerator sometimes which is almost dangerous! For passengers it's all fine, it's just for the driver side that it's not great.

These were listed as some of the cheapest universal car mats but they are decent quality and feel hard wearing. The drivers side has and extra shaped padded area where your feet rest and the underside of them have small rubber spikes to help stop them from slipping.The front mats are a decent size, my only critism is that the rear ones are quite small and only protect a small area, in my car anyway.

Had these in the car for a month now and the durability seems fine so far. Love the colour as they match and blend in with my grey car which is a people carrier. Only thing, I wish the two rear mats were larger.

800 miles and they are falling apart. Seams have come away from the fabric at the edges and almost worn through the fabric on the drivers side even though I only wear trainers when driving so no hard soles. They are very light and move about easily. They are also very small and hardly cover the floor space of a Ford Focus. Not recommended.

I bought these mats based on the fact they were advertised as being suitable for my make and model of car but they were completely incompatible with the shape of the footwell. Even if they had fitted properly, the backing on the mats slide around the footwell so are absolutely useless as a car mat - and potentially dangerous. Complete waste of money.

They are good rubber backed mats but being of ‘standard’ fit the front ones are not a great fit to my car .

The driver's mat is 10cm shorter than the original Nissan Micra mat.
