My S9+ is rated for underwater operation, but when I rode my bike home from work in the rain, water got into the loud speaker and ruined it. When I tried to take the back cover off to replace the damaged speaker, the cover shattered! I guess they want us to buy a new phone ASAP, instead of repairing it or replacing the battery so the phone lasts for years.Devastated, I was happy to find this inexpensive replacement cover, and thrilled that after installation, it looks and feels like the original cover! It includes pre-cut and positioned adhesive tape, and installation was easy. I did have to use a heat gun to remove the fingerprint reader from the old case, but I'm handy with electronics. The case also had the glass camera windows installed, and the original Samsung logos. I received much more value than I paid for.

It's worth the money to use this item to replace the back part of your phone. Easy if you have the tools if you don't know how to perform this task, pay the money and have someone who knows how to do this or buy 2-4 because the it is brittle and fragile when putting it on you can crack it. And you have to remove it watch some YOUTUBE on removing the back it will help you a lot.

Product was actually the exact same as the broken factory installed version... I see alot of people complaining that its plastic but I mean they both are ..look at my repair pictures

Had this in a lifeproof case since the day I installed it and it cracked in the corner within a month or two. Now 7 months later it is terrible. Had to put tape over the cracks to prevent glass shards from scratching the front till I do it all over again. Also no adhesive around the fingerprint reader so it wont be waterproof.

Way better than spending hundreds on insurance replacement. Removing the old cover was a nightmare, but placing this on my device was a breeze. Just don't do what I did...make sure there are no finger prints on the inside of the camera lens cover before you put it all together. Also, be very careful with that ribbon connecting the fingerprint sensor.

Looks like it will work to replace my back piece color also seems off slightly. The adhesive is a nice addition. However the product stated multiple times this was a glass replacement and its is most definitely plastic as most of the question and answers section has said. Even though I saw this I took a gamble anyways and will use it since I dont really have a choice. Cant comment on longevity but seems it will hold up since the phone will be in a case anyways.
