Fast and great specs for intense processing needs
I've had this for just a few days but it's already up and performing very well for my needs. The combination of the 8 core processor, 64gb RAM and SSD hard drive looked to be perfect for my scripting and number crunching needs, and it's proven to be as hoped. I did notice that there was no mention of wifi capabilities so reach out to the seller to verify if you need that or go ahead and plan on getting a PCIe wifi card as I did. With any "refurb" situation there's always a possibility that things aren't as perfect as new but I feel like I got a great value for the cost and would do it again.

Non stop issues
This should be a very powerful computer for the price. It was getting constant blue screens when rebooting. I tried updating drivers and a variety of things to try to fix it. I ended up needing to reinstall Windows to get it to work. It works now, but when I try to run my DAW it has a lot of audio dropouts. Blue screened again after trying everything and finally gave up and returned it.

Great Value for the $$$
Server was ordered and delivered a few days early.Came exactly as described. My purpose was to use the machine to replace a 10+ year old PowerSpec box running Windows Server 2022 and 4 VM'sI added two cards to the machine (SATA RAID and additional GigaBit network card)After a few hours of tinkering, the machine was up and working. Old data retrieved from backups and all good!Great value for the money!!

You get what you pay for
I was excited for this purchase - it is a very good price but remember - you really get what you pay for - not just in product but also experience.I needed this computer for CAD (Solidworks) and Rendering. The type of work I do requires great speed and accuracy so I needed the exact specs stated on the description. I hoped that the experience would be seamless and I would be able to just boot it up and work away, but that was until I received the item. When I received the product, I had a handful of concerns:1. What I received was pretty banged up - a lot of pretty deep scratches on the panels, 2 missing rubber foot. I didn't make a big deal about this but I have to be honest that it did lower my confidence of the product. I bit the bullet on this one.2. Also, what I ordered was a T3600 but I was confused because what I received was a T5600 - Sure I should have been happier that I received a "newer" version but it created a lot of confusion and back and fourth with the seller to figure out if the specs were the same.3. Because I received a different model, this made me lose some confidence in the product even more! I went ahead and checked thoroughly that the specs were correct by opening up the computer to double check the parts. The second I opened up the panel I already saw that there was a discrepancy on the video card - The description says NVDIA Quadro 5000 but what I received was NVDIA Quadro 4000. This was the ball dropper and I was about to just return the thing but the seller was nice enough to offer me $125 back so I kept it.4. In addition, the description was not clear if this machine had wifi or not. I assumed that it had wifi since it didnt say ANYTHING at all about not having wifi built in - until I received it. I then had to drive to Fry's to pick up a USB wifi for $30.My whole experience with this product and seller was just a big hassle. All in all - if the seller were to just give me exactly what I paid for, none of this would have been a hassle. Other than that - the computer was very well packaged and does work after all the extra things I had to do.So here is the lesson - you really get what you pay for. The price helped and the seller was nice. But the time lost in this whole ordeal was definitely annoying.

Points to Consider
I recently purchased this computer, but unfortunately, I had to return it after a few days of trying to get it to work. However, I must commend Amazon for their hassle-free return process. I always make sure to keep the original packaging, and returning the computer was a breeze. I simply placed it back in the box and took it to the nearest UPS store. Easy peasy!Let me share my experience with refurbished computers from Amazon in general. This would have been my fifth refurbished computer, and I have been consistently impressed with their quality. I highly recommend considering refurbished computers from Amazon if you're looking for a great deal. In fact, I've already ordered a similar refurbished computer to replace the one I returned, so you can trust that they offer excellent value. Now, let's discuss the specific issues I encountered with this computer. When I first unpacked it, I noticed visible damage, including a case cover that wouldn't close properly and broken pieces of plastic inside the accessory bag. It seemed as if the computer had been mishandled or dropped at the factory before. Despite this, I proceeded with setting up the computer by connecting the mouse and keyboard and attempting to power it on. Unfortunately, it wouldn't start initially.I performed the usual troubleshooting steps, which involved disconnecting all accessories. Surprisingly, the computer started without the mouse and keyboard connected. I was able to plug in the keyboard after the computer started, but not the mouse. I went through the setup process using only the keyboard and Wi-Fi connection. The mouse that came with the computer turned out to be physically defective, but luckily, I had another mouse that worked perfectly fine.Once I got past these initial hurdles, the computer performed well and demonstrated its power. I went through multiple restarts during the Windows Update process, and everything seemed to be in order. I shut down the computer for the day, looking forward to using it further. However, the next day, I encountered a major setback—the computer refused to power up, despite my efforts over several hours. I attempted various troubleshooting steps, but unfortunately, nothing worked.Although I was willing to overlook the damaged case and continue using the computer, the fact that it wouldn't power up at all forced me to return it. I was disappointed with this turn of events, but I appreciated the ease of the return process provided by Amazon.Despite my specific experience with this particular computer, I want to emphasize that I will continue to rely on Amazon for refurbished computers in the future. Overall, they offer great value for the price, and if you happen to receive a defective unit like I did, the return process is straightforward and convenient.
