An excellent book for new and not so new rabbit owners
“WDMR” is a very charmingly written book that provides a lot of insight into common rabbit behaviors, and will help readers to accommodate their rabbit’s needs, and help owners train rabbits to avoid misbehaving - with a lot of practice and patience, of course

Now I know why my rabbit...
Before you buy one, read up! Before you give up on a bunny, read this book! Before you know it, your bunny with be your buddy, too! My bunny and I bonded immediately but he wasn't always mindful of my rules... now I know why he needs to dig and chew and I provide alternatives for him. He has his own bedroom that has been completely bunny-proofed and is allowed in the half of the house that has no carpet. Cords are covered in cloth and he seems to leave them alone now. He is the best pet I have ever had and is as affectionate as a dog and as playful as a cat. He is litter trained, and I feed him only vegies and hay. This book helped me understand his fear of being in the open yard with me, and to expect him to chew and dig because he is a rabbit.

the most thorough work in print on rabbit behavior
This is a study of the behavior of the domestic rabbit and its ancestor, the European wild rabbit. It has answers to almost all the questions you will ever have about why your rabbit acts the way it does. The author puts problem behaviors like biting in perspective, explaining the natural impulses behind them and providing ways to guide your rabbit out of them. Because our domestic rabbits have been bred mainly for appearance rather than for behavioral traits, they are still very close to their wild brethren in their behavioral habits. Thus, the author spends quite a bit of time exploring how rabbits live in the wild, and then shows how these behaviors carry forward into the domestic situation. This is a valuable work, as it is currently difficult to find information in print on wild rabbit behavior.

Very practical and comprehensive book.
I found this book to be very informative and helpful in helping me care for my pet bunny. This book answered questions I had about my bunny, and gave solutions on how to solved problems or deal with certain issues. It also deals with medical issues, diseases your pet bunny could get, and vaccinations your bunny will need which I did not know, nor was this information give to me by my vet.

It's an easy read that feels like your best rabbit buddy expert ...
this book explains in words and, in a more thorough way what the book "Understanding Your Rabbits Habits" explains in pictures. It's an easy read that feels like your best rabbit buddy expert is casually explaining why your bunny does what it does to you over coffee. Perfect for rabbit owners. Your rabbit will thank you for reading this.

Good book
This is a good book. Full of useful information. I just feel that this book repeats itself. It talks about a lot of stuff for the first half and then in the second have is then organized. One thing I wanted to point out is this book takes place in England.

Best bunny book out there
Best bunny book out there. If you care to understand your rabbit behavior and make your and his/hers life much better, this is the book for youThis is an advanced book, so it's not recommended for anyone new to bunnies. It lacks the growing, feeding and all the "How to" information, Note that.

A very good introduction for the new rabbit owner
A very good introduction for the new rabbit owner. It will teach you to understand a little of what your rabbit needs for a happy and fulfilling life. My first copy of this book was first bought many years ago and when looking for it to lend to yet another new rabbit owner I found it had not been returned from whoever I lent it to last. I now have a new kindle addition. It is still as relevant today as it was originally, although rabbit care and understanding has moved on a great deal in the intervening years.

loved it!
I couldn't put this book down! Enjoyed the first sections, giving the reader a short history of wild and domestic rabbits, which sheds light on their behaviour as pets. As someone who has kept rabbits for a number of years, I felt this book went beyond the usual 'Guides to rabbits': giving valuable insights and practical advice, as well as explanations of terms specific to rabbit-keeping. I loved the Q&A style sections in the 2nd half of the book, which offer solutions to common problem behaviours. The author manages to sustain a knowledgeable, yet humorous, friendly tone throughout which makes the guide a pleasure to read.
