Excellent mallet for the price. Bought for my son who's taken up stone carving. Didn't want to pay too much in case he lost interest but equally didn't want a product that was going to break after limited use. The mallet is well constructed and just the right weight for him

This was a recommended item for a stone carving course I attended, so I had some experience of using it prior to ordering. It has weight to it that allows it to hit a chisel with effect and minimum impact on the hand; it’s a nice size, sits well in the hand and is much better than the large wood mallet I used for similar purposes a few decades ago. Would recommend.

Beautiful mallet to use.

My favourite mallet to use for stone carving. It's a lovely weight and makes a great sound when struck. It seems to be ageing well too.

Wish I had got one of these years ago , if you’re thinking about carving stone this is the hammer for the job
