NovogratzRetro Collection Retro Wave Shag Area Rug, 7'6" x 9'6", Multicolor

I ordered this rug for my son's room. We needed something big and affordable, with bright colors and a kid-friendly pattern. Returned the rug for several reasons, but the primary reason was the poor quality! You can feel every single hard little knot where the shaggy yarn is tied in. Even with a rug pad, it feels like you're stepping and sitting on small stones. I was also repeatedly trimming the rug, as there were endless long fibers that did not get cut with the others. The rug never lost its chemical smell, even after weeks my son's room smelled terrible. The edges of the rug also never laid flat, no matter what we left on them to hold them down, they stayed curled up. The rug is very shaggy, which is in the description, but also very shiny, making it look pretty cheap and not plush. I loved the colors and pattern, the size and price, but poor quality is poor quality. Even if you don't plan on really standing on the rug, the shiny shag is not appealing. Too bad!

Awesome rug by Novogratz!! Love the retro style and affordability. I've purchased two of these in the past year and they have proven to be both durable and comfortable. We have three cats and they're not fans of the shag style so there's not tearing or clawing at the rugs - it's great!
