NovogratzRetro Collection Prism Shag Area Rug, 2'3" x 7'6" Runner, Multicolor

I really like the style of this rug but it’s not woven very tightly and loses yarn pieces with time.

We opened the package and put it on the floor to get the feel of it under our feet. To our surprise, it had a strange crunch to it, then discovered our feet were smudged with some sort or machine oil from the carpet fibers.

We updated our bedroom with new paint, pulled out old carpet and replaced curtains. This rug added more character to the room and feels silky underfoot. I love the colors (the green is on our walls) and the modern pattern.

Sort of thin. Soft but thin. Great color.

This rug is decent. It is very soft, has a nice woven fabric backing rather than rubber, and the underside edging is wide and nicely done. The rug is not very thick or dense. It is multicolored with geometric patterning, with the shapes separated by white borders. In the photo it looked like a colorful mosaic-type design, but when it arrived the overall look was less pleasing. The colors are odd shades and primarily pastels, and they don’t complement each other well or give a harmonious cohesion as an overall pattern. The softness feels nice underfoot (and my dog loves it), but is also slippery to walk on in slippers or shoes that have smooth bottoms. Overall, I’ll keep it to add some warmth to my office, but it’s not quite what I was expecting.
