Cool project for kids or adults!
I bought this for my son who is a huge fan! He absolutely loves it! This was easy, but not too easy for him to put together, it kept him busy, and he had something to be proud of afterward! It is great for playing with and for display!

Its worth getting it if your child liked to play with these kind of anime toys.
Is well worth it when my child loves to play with these type of toys. It's tends to be a little pricey but if it's only one in a while it's worth it as long as they play with it. Highly recommend it.

My first Figure-Rise model kit. Good, but better with some extra paint. Before/After
This is my first Bandai Figure-Rise Standard model kit, though far from my first model kit. This review will be from the perspective of an avid Gundam model kit (Gunpla) builder. From a complexity standpoint I was surprised to discover that this wasn't as complicated as a modern Gundam High Grade -- close, but more in line with an SD kit than anything. The build was pretty quick, about a half hour using clippers and without stopping to clean up nub marks. The instruction booklet has big pictures and simple steps with clear direction indicators, but your mileage will vary if you give this kit to a young child to build. If you're going to build it and gift it to a child to play with, I would suggest gluing some of the parts together so smaller bits don't end up where they shouldn't be. Model kits generally arent built to be as durable as an action figure. StOkay, next I want to cover other important points: presentation, accuracy, playability, value. Does this figure look like Ultra Instinct Goku from the DBS anime or manga? Arguable either way since the quality of the artwork/animation for DBS wasnt exactly always consistent. However, using promo artwork and this model kit''s box art for reference, I'd say the final built model captures the spirit of the DBS artwork, but isn't quite as accurate as say, an SH Figuarts action figure would be. Still, this is easily recognizable as UI Goku.Next, how aesthetically pleasing is the built model after a straight build? Hmmm...a bit plain. I know in terms of design and complexity, Figure-Rise was limited to the design of this version of Goku...which is just a barechested Goku with silver hair. Not as complicated as, say, Trunks or Piccolo, etc, who have many more colors to work with. That being said, I think Bandai could have given us more color-separated parts so that we A) didn't have to rely on the limited stickers and B) didn't have to use paint. Inside the box a small sheet of red stickers is provided to cover the red striping on Goku's shoes. That's it. That''s fine and good, but there's one area that they should have moulded into a separate piece: the ripped second layer of Goku's outfit hanging off of his waist. In the anime and artwork, there should be a layer of orange ripped fabric under the top blue layer of clothing. Here it's just one thick piece of solid blue plastic. A little disappointing. The best part is the head. I love how the eyes and hair are done. Everything else is pretty basic and looks pretty bare without extra work applied.i painted mine. Left is before, right is after. I used a brown Gundam Real Touch Marker and a Q-trip to do some weathering/shading work on Goku's musculature and pants, then a red paint marker for the red stripes on his shoes. Finally, i used a Tamiya Weathering Master pigment kit (Gun Metal) to shade his hair. I'm not expert on model kit painting but I think with just a bit of extra work you can get a much more presentable final model out of this kit.Thank you for reading. I bought mine from Amazon for $28 and at that price I would say it's worth the entry cost. It's about as much as a standard High Grade Gundam kit and the final product stands taller than most HG kits and closer to a Master Grade kit. They even included parts to build a kamehameha charge and blast accessory effects with most SH Figuarts Dragon Ball figures don't include at easily twice the price of the average Figure-Rise model kit. That's pretty impressive.Do I recommend this kit? Absolutely, though I would just as strongly suggest going the extra step and painting/weathering the model after to get the most out of it.

That cost how much?
My grandson wanted this for Xmas, so of course I ordered this for him and man this little figure cost so much and its so light and fragile. My grandson can't play with it like the reset of his action figures because it will break with any wrong movements the arms don't even move. I guess that this is just something that you just place on a shelf and leave it there to look at. This item is not for kids,

This item has to be put together.
I don’t like that the toy has to be put together. Very inconvenient.
