Clarington Forged Dutch Scuffle Hoe

I've searched high and low for a specialty garden hoe like this, in the "dutch hoe" configuration, and wanted to get high quality as well. There are some import junk options, but this is not one of them. It's pricey, there's no denying that, but you get a lot for your money with this tool. The weld quality is good, the blade is sharp, strong and well attached to the handle. You won't break this tool using it in the yard, and properly cared for, it should last a lifetime. You can feel the quality in the heft and balance of this tool when you pick it up, and especially when you put it into the ground and use. All around, superbly crafted (made in England!) and something you will be proud to have in your weeding arsenal. Wish I had found this years ago!

The person who designed this hoe is a genius! I came looking for some serious help after spending an hour weeding and had about ten times that to go! I either needed to figured out a solution to the weeds in my mulched beds or move, I already have a full time job. I looked at the other hoes in this category and thought this one looked best to my eye...it is forged and should last much longer than you!I was not disappointed when it arrived (2- day prime). This is a game changer. If you don't like this hoe, I respectfully suggest that you are doing something terribly wrong. I was practically whistling by the time I finished, it was that easy. The blade is sharp and the heft of the blade on that nice handle allows it to move effortlessly through the weeds. Not exactly like an out-of-body Rambo experience, but close!This gets my highest rating...buy it!

The tool angle is perfect for decapitatingweeds in sand. Perfect for our application.

Well made tool but it doesn't cut in both direction like the cheap hoola hoe. The Angle has to be just right to scrap the weeds out.

Works wonderfully on loosening the soil and weeding. Love this tool, worth every penny...

Looked for a long time prior to purchasing this hoe. Do like it a lot, but it is really too heavy for me, unless I am in tip top condition!Blade is quite sharp and does the job beautifully, but care must be taken not to cut yourself. The one I had for many years before this one had rounded edges on the blade. That was considerably better.

Been looking for one of thee tools for a while. Works like a charm on my mulched garden beds.
