From the perspective of someone who is 50 (male), this product is very effective, it does notacibly improve my mental state and energiy levels within 5 minutes of taking it and the effects last a good 6 to 8 hours, with a healthy diet.I enjoy running as well and I believe this DHEA (Double Wood) is helping in healing my muscles and joints.Note to race runners, make sure you get your TUE filled out by a doctor before using this stuff or the USADA could ban you for a period of time, read online it happens even in master running.As far as dosage goes, I recommend putting half a tablet in a smoothie at first and see how you feel and see ifyou get any oily skin, acne or any other reported side effects. If you feel your body asking for more than 50mg, then 100mg may be right for you, but always follow up with a Hormone Profile test and/or Doctor test at least within 30 days after use or before you start. I love this DHEA supplement.I have tried other brands. None have compared to the Double Woods brand.There are many benefits that I have seen and experienced since taking this supplement. Here are a few of my opinions.First.The caplets are small and light. Which makes them very easy to swallow.Second.For me, it helps me with my weight management. I'm a bigger guy. When I'm taking the DHEA, it helps me keep my weight off.Third.For me, I feel that the DHEA gives me energy.And fourth.Again, for me I feel that the DHEA helps with the bedroom activities. Not for E D, but other visual and production of certain aspects that some men like to feel and see.What the DHEA does for me may not be a typical result for other people, but it exceeds my expectations.I am extremely happy with Double Woods DHEA supplements.I will continue to purchase and take this supplement for as long as they continue to make them.

My doctor recommended this to me for weight loss as it increases energy and I did see some good results in the first 2 weeks (I lost about 4.5 lbs.), but after that I started maintaining. When I paired it with 1500 mg/day of Ashwagandha I saw the best results. I lost 13 lbs. in 6 weeks. I wasn't a couch potato though. You'll only see results if you keep a decent diet (watch the sugar) and get some minimal exercise in, even if it's just walking around the neighborhood a few times a week. 45 minutes a day of accelerated heart rate is all we actually need to maintain a healthy life and to experience weight loss (per my doctor).

This is a quality DHEA supplement. High potency at 100mg and this provides a six-month supply. Read up on DHEA and do not take more then one capsule a day. If you take these daily, you will notice the benefits fairly quickly.I'm in my 40's, and building/retaining lean muscle mass is not as easy anymore. I've been taking these in conjunction with a better diet (higher fat/protein, very low carbs) and consistent exercise. It helps with mood, energy and really helps with reduction of inflammation. It can be used safely with other supplements/vitamins as long as you're not overdosing. This is a good value - a six-month supply. It isn't magic, it won't transform your body by itself, but it is a great boost if you're doing other things right.

I have tried several vendors, perhaps far too many, and while I had purchased different supplements from Doublewood, I had always gone to other brands for DHEA, but only because of cost. This company produces the most effective, consistent and reliable line of supplements on Amazon, and the slightly elevated pricing relative to other brands is actually MORE cost effective because of the effectiveness. When they say "6 month supply", it's actually true because you need not double up. For those whose dosage is higher, try this brand and see where your dosage is with this. I'm sticking with this brand from now on..EDIT: I purchased this as a 'subscribe & save' product at the 15% discount tier, making this an incredible value. Seriously, even without the S&S discount, I was very pleased. I'm almost 50, well past the age where testosterone levels have begun their decline in a man my age. I also started lifting weights to help strengthen my upper back and shoulders due to a rotator cuff tear and surgery 6 months ago with physical rehab.I lifted weights in my teens and twenties but got discouraged due to lack of gains and never went back to the gym after several years of trying.
