Product description This module gets around the “No Neutral” problem that most other smart lighting switches have. Instead of being installed at the switch this module is installed in the ceiling above the light fitting or in the rose. The existing light switch is used to turn on/off the light via the module. The module uses all existing wiring and no new cable runs are required making retro fitting easy. L&N in to module with L&N out to light fitting, Wire existing switch to the module. The module comes with 2-gang option but can also be used for one light. Control your lighting from your smart phone, google assistant or Echo. Bloody dangerous! Don't Buy!
Been running this thing for about four weeks. It took many attempts to connect it to wifi but I eventually got there and the device ran OK if a bit erratic, the light would sometimes come on or go off at it's own will. The Alexa app had trouble connecting with it but it kinda worked ok-ish, for about four weeks. Then out of nowhere the thing exploded with a huge bang and tripped the main breaker. I turned off the power and removed the device from my light to find that it had blown it's lid off. I'm just glad I was here when it decided to expire. Really not impressed at all!

Easy to use, works great
Wired this unit to my existing hall light so that I can set random timers for security purposes.I added a bigger ceiling rose to house the module rather than locating it above the plasterboard, it was easily wired to the existing wiring with the ceiling light rose terminals. Had some difficulty with the app but once I realised that I had to register an account firstly with my mobile number, it was plain sailing.Definitely thinking about getting more for other rooms in the house to switch the lights on a timer when I’m not home.

Seems to work well.
The skill won't enable in Alexa. Says cant at this time :-/**Update**The services must have been down all Sunday when I was trying to enable the Alexa service. All working now and seems to work well

Works well
Connected to google home, slightly longer delay from google than the app itself but they work well and you get to keep your normal switches.

I’m an electrician and this items instructions make no sense. Doesn’t work with the app either! Don’t buy

DO NOT BUY IF IN THE UK
Absolutely useless for anyone in the UK as we don't have a neutral on lights that this product requires.
