Beautiful. The colors (as pictured) are exactly what I was seeking for our guest room.True to size for our standard queen-- fitting just below the top mattress allowing the bed squirt to show. (It does not hang as pictured, which is fine with me.) It is light weight poly. My animals do not sleep on our beds and we do not have cats, so not sure if it would hold up to claws. The embroidered detail on the red is a nice touch and the stitching is tight. All of the shams are light weight. I draped the standard shams as a cover for the standard pillows so they can be easily removed for sleeping. (Not yet confident about soiling and washing.) The euro shams require 28 x 28 pillows. The decorator pillows are firm. The bed skirt was wrinkled from packaging with a few minutes in the dryer came out wrinkle-free.For the Prime price of 89.99 and free shipping its worth the purchase. I would not spend anymore-- most definitely not worth $299.99, even if it is an eight-piece set.

I had been looking for a new bedding set for months. I didn't want to get something too (girly), because I want my husband to be happy with how OUR bedroom looks, as well as myself. I also have a great deal of red, white, and black paintings in my bedroom, so I was looking for a set that would coordinate with them. I saw a couple sets, and was having a difficult time trying to decide between them. Finally a bit the bullet and made a choice, this one was it, and I'm glad I did. I love this set, it's beautiful. Okay its not as FULL looking as the photo shows, but we all know that they have special techniques that they use, to make the product look its best. I suppose you could put it in the dryer on fluff, and get the look? I really don't know, because I actually use my bed, and don't just have it for decoration. LOL This is beautiful though, and I would recommend it.

I bought this for our master bedroom but I don’t think it’s durable enough for everyday use. It’s very pretty and the colors are pretty, dark chocolate, a rustic brick red and gold. If the packing wrinkles were steamed out and it was used in a room that didn’t get regular use, I would keep it. The price, just under $100 is good, but I’d probably need to replace it in 6 months with daily use. I will be asking for my shipping to be refunded! They said they’re deducting $13.70 from my refund upon return. I’ll be more careful to read fine print regarding returns, as I thought w Amazon Prime, I’d get my free shipping!?!

I have a red, black, and grey theme in my bedroom and this brought all the colors together beautifully! It's beautiful, light, but also cozy and warm! The accent pillows and shams that came with it are a great addition as well! I washed everything before we used it and every single item in the collection washed and dried great! My hubby and I love it, definitely worth the money....actually a lot cheaper than others, so this is a good deal!

I like that this comforter is not too thick and I like the colors. However this comforter is much smaller than my previous comforter. I ordered the California King and it is the size of a Queen comforter instead!! So buyer beware.Also, pillow shams are just that pillow cases with no pillows. So you only get two decorative pillows and then would have to buy other pillows for the shams. I do not feel the price justifies what you receive.

I had this set on my wishlist for a solid year before purchasing and was so happy when it came. It's beautiful, but the top of the comforter is a little bit scratchy, especially under my chin if I pull the covers up at night. However, the biggest problem is that the comforter completely fell apart after the first wash! I followed the washing instructions exactly, but it came out with giant tears and holes in it. I hadn't even put it in the dryer yet. Thankfully I can return it, but I'm left trying to figure out how on earth to re-pack it for shipping back. :(

I like everything about this set except: it isn't wide enough to cover the bed. The picture of the comforter shows it draping down about 6-8 inches on the side of the bed but it doesn't; consequently the blanket or sheets show on each side of the bed. If you pull it over so it does cover the bedding/side then the other side has no comforter covering at all. The set is beautiful and I'm going to try to make it work while I'm trying to sell our house. I can probably use it in our guest room on a smaller bed.
