It's cast iron so it's ,you know, heavy, and you have to already know how to cook in and properly care for cast iron. We do, and we've had awesome results with this wok.I had ordered it as a last minute Christmas gift for my son last year, and it arrived on time and in perfect condition. We've cooked in it a number of times and have had really good results. It distributes heat as it should, just remember, it's cast iron so all the rules to preheating and finishing daily here. It is a little different than cooking on carbon steel and you have to adjust your timing slightly.The wok itself is perfect and great quality, I'm very pleased with this purchase and will purchase more items from this brand in the future.

This is what you would think of for a cast iron pan. It's heavy and we seasoned it on the grill. It holds heat well and really makes frying on the grill a breeze. It is a good size for 2 to 4 people and because of the cast iron should last a long time. The pan did not recommend seasoning before first use, but we did and it worked out great. The pan was new and in good shape after shipping. The pan acts like cast iron regarding coating and stick.

This is a very good product for the money. Although it has been pre-seasoned, it is a good idea to clean it and properly season it before use. I used it to make a shrimp stir fry that cooked great. As with any cast iron, never use detergent or other soap.

Got this for my husband as a gift and he is obsessed with it. It is very heavy, but that means that the heat is distributed evenly throughout. It’s cast iron so you have to clean it like cast iron. I would recommend purchasing silicone pads for the handles so you can hold it/move it when it’s hot. This is the wok to buy. Especially for the price.

Fantastic pan, takes a while to season it properly, however I have enjoyed many stir frys in it and it will last a long time.
