Portable campfire
It looks and feels like it made very sturdy. I found it easy and fast to set up. It’s very lightweight and portable to carry. It’s goin to do very well with my camping trips. For the money it’s worth it. I would recommend this product. Can’t wait to try it out.

Fantastic Firepit, Highly Recommend
This portable firepit is great! We're very happy with this item: it's easy to set up, it's sturdy, and best of all we can have a fire anywhere practical. We do a lot of SUVRVing so it's nice to be able to set up a proper firepit in primitive camping areas as well as put the fire where it works best for us. I like that it's off the ground since established firepits are often damp/wet here in the PNW. I agree with other reviewers that noted the heat coming off the bottom is nice for cold feet. For this reason I recommend that a buyer consider getting a welder's blanket to set down (we're happy with our Waylander 24x24 welder's blanket we got here on Amazon, which rolls up and fits nicely in the carry bag) rather than the heat shield, which is about the same cost as the welder's blanket but seems to have mixed reviews. The blanket on the ground will still allow heat to migrate down whereas the heat shield attaches midway up. The added benefit that we found going this route was that we are able to use the underside of the firepit as a place to reheat/roast food. You can stick a cast iron skillet/griddle under there and make quesadillas and the like--we used it to reheat Taco Bell burritos with fantastic, crispy, results (see pic). If you're thinking about getting one, then I'd say go for it. I did a very thorough review of this product before buying and I have a few responses to a some of the review comments: 1) Discoloration: It's a fire pit... it WILL get blemished. Who cares if the screen gets discolored? You're burning wood on it when in use and storing in a bag when not in use so I don't understand the critical reviews about "but it says stainless steel" blah blah blah. Don't go into it thinking it's a magical firepit and you'll be pleased nonetheless. 2) Smoke: again, there is no magic here. Smoke will still blow in your face if that's the direction wind is blowing. Whoever said the smoke will go over your head must've been using it on a still night! Don't get your expectations up. 3) Heat shield: can't really comment here except that the mixed reviews caused me to get a welder's blanket instead, which I'm very happy with. 4) Longevity: we only used a few times so no telling how long it will hold up... I plan to use it somewhat selectively and use only when needed to keep the mileage down, so to speak. All in all I'd like to thank the company for making an excellent product. Thank you!

Packs small, sets up big, light weight
Great product ! We used it on a couple of camping trips. Really puts off a nice amount of heat! We will always use this pit opposed to a ground fire while camping from now on. Very efficient burn, easy to clean, provides tons of warmth. I was a bit sceptical, but it was absolutely great. Easy to pack/transport, assemble, and pack back up. I love the assembled size of this pit too; great for groups of people to gather around, others i looked at were pretty small.

Perfect and lightweight
I love this! We bought it when we discovered that some campgrounds don’t provide a fire ring. It is super lightweight, seems sturdy enough, and took about 30 seconds to assemble. Will probably also use it at home. Recommend 100% (Fireproof mat under mine in the video was not included, I purchased it separately, just to be extra safe.)

Awesome portable pit!
This little thing is a game changer. It can hold a good amount of wood in it. Throws heat from under it and around so you get a nice bubble of heat when you need it. It burns the wood down to fine ash so clean up is a breeze. Have had this pit sitting over slightly tall grass and you wouldn't know a fire was there. It's perfect for locations that do not allow a ground fire. It's fast and easy to setup and take down and goes back into the carrying bag with ease.

I'm rather impressed
I took it camping this weekend, and I was impressed with how functional it was. I've been sending back a lot of disfuctional camping gear from Amazon as of late, but this fire pit was amazing. It was quick to setup and tear down, sturdy enough for a small camp fire, and easy to clean. Only complaint is that the wire mesh that lines the pit is a really tight fit. You have to apply force to get it to slide over the support rods. That in combination with the kind of rough aluminum finish, I cut my hand the first time putting it together. Otherwise, no complaints.

Product exactly as described, packaged well and exactly what we were looking for for a lightweight portable campfire. Would have been helpful to know ember shield needed to be ordered separately.
