Ultrasac Clear Recycling Bags

These bags are great, I'm in the middle of unpacking and the paper from the boxes fit great in these big bags and make it easier to haul things out of the house in. They are very thick.

I ordered these because I’ve been having a hard time locating large, durable, clear bags at my local supermarket. Our trash collecting service requires clear bags for green waste and all I can find locally are either small & very thin clear bags or large black sturdy bags. I read lots & lots of reviews on different bags here on amazon and decided to give these a try and I am very pleased. They are a sturdy material perfect for my yard waste. Of course if you have sharp sticks they may poke through, but even when punctured the bag seems to hold up really well. My favorite thing about these bags is that they are not connected to each other in a roll! They are already separated. I didn’t realize how much easier that would make my life, but I love it. The ONLY negative is that there isn’t a perfect way to secure these when you’re ready to close them up. Most bags either come with a built in draw string or handles that make it easier to tie them up. These bags have neither of those options and instead come with pretty dainty little twist ties. What has worked pretty well for me is to just leave the bag slightly less than full and tie them up as if they had the handles for tying. Since they are large 45 gallon bags that seems to work well enough so I’ll still give this product 5 stars! Never thought I’d buy lawn trash bags on Amazon, but here we are.

These bags are the best you are going to find for the value. Real heavy duty bags that hold anything I throw in them. Easy to open and easy to tie closed. I use them for weekly recycling pickup and to protect/store outdoor decorations. I have 2 recycling pails (paper and plastic/metal/glass etc.) 100 bags lasted 10 months before I had to reorder.

The club I was buying recycle bags from no longer ships them and I needed more bags. Those were big rectangular bags that fit everything from my 40 gallon bin with room to tie the handles. These bags are more round shape with 4 corners sealed together at the center of the bottom. This leaves a lot of extra plastic bunched up inside, and much less room for items in the bag. The bag has no extra length to tie up, so you lose a lot of length there as well. It does come with twist ties, but there are no handles or shaped edges at the top for tying. The thickness is a little more than the club bags, and the quality of the plastic itself feels good and sturdy. However, I'll be needing 2 of these per week for our 40 gallons of recycle, vs the 1 of the other brand that I could stuff super full. For some reason, it's hard to find very large clear bags, so these will do the job for now!

Decent price and super quick delivery

Our transfer station requires clear bags and most stores only carry 13g. Hard to find 40g and especially sturdy ones that don’t burst and leave you with a mess. Have used these for a year with no accidents. They use twist ties (provided) so be careful. Wish they with ties running through the edge but be respectful and they serve well. Would recommend.

The quantity of bags is great value for the money, especially when bagging up an entire household to prep for bed bug chemical extermination. We had books, blankets, clothes, so many things to bag up to prevent the bugs from entering the items during spraying. Two boxes is enough for a family of five with around 1000 books, and clothing for three children including their hand-me-downs that we keep in storage totes. We double dried and bagged every piece of cloth in the house just to be sure. Bed bugs are a devastating thing to contend with. I recommend two to three boxes for larger households or organized horders. One to two boxes is perfect for smaller households or minimalists. Sturdy bags. Good buy.
