10 AWG extension cords are hard to find, but the minimum width recommended for charging electric cars (if you're going to use an extension cord--car manufacturers prefer that you not use one at all, but I find it unavoidable at times). I use with with a weather-proofing cover for the connection (search "Outdoor Waterproof Extension Cord Connector" by Perfect Life Ideas, which along with the cords own built-in protection makes me confident enough to use it outdoors.

Really sturdy and well-made. I use it for charging my EV (between wall outlet and portable EVSE) so it carries a constant load without ever feeling warm to the touch.

I purchased this to run a few items like a T-shirt maker and a spot welder, both of which pop the circuit breaker in the large closet which serves as my workshop area/office with regularity. Now, I can plug those into an outlet in the next room which can handle 30A. Haven't popped a circuit breaker since. Not to mention when I'm working with a mobile office setup, or when displaying multiple oil fragrance heater lamps. and a space heater to heat a small tent at outdoor events. I can plug in every device I need into a large, custom built power center, and run the cord to a 30A outlet.

I Have a small EV and the charge was starting to drop, caauing the wall plug to trip off. So I upgaded the Extension chord to this and purchased the BorgeRVLevel 2 EV charger. This worked out great and the Stock charger also imprived. So if you think you might need a really great chord, this is it.

I use this for my 120V flux core welder. I have a 20A circuit and noticed no difference in performance or breaker tripping when using with and without the extension. In other words, the voltage drop or resistivity is negligible for a cable this size at max 120V load. I can pop the breaker easily with no extension regardless if I don't dial back my settings. Only regret is I didn't get the 50' version!

Ok bought this with hoping that the end of the plug would not get hot. I plugged it into my RV adapter to run the AC and the plug got so hot you could barley touch. My concern is this getting so hot it will melt the plug and start a fire at the electrical wiring

Great cables. I got 10 gauge to use for my pool!! I have had no issues with them and I leave them outside in the summer.

This power cord is perfect for our air compressor! We had such issues using our compressor before buying this cord, as it would flip the outlet's circuit. There was never enough amps getting to the compressor before and this gives it plenty enough juice!!
