These work beautifully with close toed shoes. They are the most comfortable ones I’ve tried. They don’t hold well with sandals, tho. They loosen and slide. Bit, in any other shoe they are very comfortable and efficient.

I have nerve damage in my foot and my toes aren’t behaving, making them cross over and inflaming my big toe joint. My foot also is very sensitive and tender.I’ve used the toe thing twice and it’s the most comfortable one I’ve tried. The Velcro is difficult to undo, but that’s probably for the best. I wore it almost all day today, after about 8 hours I was ready to take it off. My toes were a bit red after taking it off, but I was able to walk around today with less discomfort. If it turns out to be a great long range solution I’ll upgrade my review to 5 stars.

The velcro is cheap and does not stay.

I like the stretchy fabric and it is breathable. I have trouble with it slipping off and it I put it tighter, it hurts my toes.
