The media could not be loaded. This water fountain is an absolutely fantastic buy especially during the hot weather, great way of getting extra fluids in to you cat so they stay hydrated. We have a couple of young kittens as well as older cats and they’re all fascinated when the fountain is switched on its like there own personal paddling pool so be prepared for mess if you have inquisitive kitties. You can select the water flow extremely easily with the turn of the wheel inside the unit, and the filter pads need changing every 4 weeks which are easily picked up on amazon for a small price. Cleaning is relatively easy just unplug and rinse/wipe the inside of the unit down, we clean every couple of days to ensure the cats are getting clean filtered water. As a bonus when I ordered the unit we received an extra pump free as there was a deal attached to the order, so in the event the unit stops working we have a spare. The water pump and be a little noisy at times but the water fountain feature can be switched off with the flick of a button so it can be used in silent mode. Nice little blue light against the water trickle so that the unit is illuminated at night. My cats love this new toy/water fountain. I would definitely recommend this if your thinking of purchasing one for your fury beasts.

The media could not be loaded. So I decided that I was fed up with wet food , nasty and smelly especially in the hot weather . So went for a good complete dry food . You can have it so the little light comes on, not sure why as cats see well in the dark , I do though turn the light on at night for myself , as it’s in the hall way it gives of a little glow for when need a trip to the bathroomThey had water in a bowl , but I noticed whenever I washed my hands or ran the tap for washing up they would jump up and drink from the tap . So thought I’d try it .Wow my two instantly took to it like a duck to water 😂.Setting up was easy enough , only trying to get the little light into its slot was a little fiddly but apart from that it was easy . I get great pleasure from watching them drink.AND in two weeks it had paid for itself , so I’m saving money too , no more nasty wet food smell .I personally love the sound of the trickling water , it’s in my hall way . I did tell my sister ( who is in my bubble) I was taking the pandemic seriously and she had to wash her feet , her face was a picture .Anyway so glad I bought this , I love it but most importantly Chester and Fleur do .

Its well constructed and looks ok. Runs quietly. Problem is that the tube to feed the water into the main spout from the pump outlet is too short and its a faff to get everything lined up. So its a bit of a pain everytime you clean it out. Probably easy enough fix with a bit of rubber hose but an extra centimeter of plastic on the pump outlet was all that was needed.It took a while for the cat to use it and wierdly she drank from the trough and not from the 'tap' flow. Still saves having to keep turning the tap on and off every 10 minutes.I need to add a comment. This is a number of weeks since I wrote the original Review. The seller noted my comments and took it upon themselves to contact me to better understand the issues I was having. The offered me an alternative unit. I have kept with the current unit as it works fine once everything is alligned properly. I am updating the start rating to 4 to reflect the good customer service.

I have had this for about 6 months and my cats love it. It stopped working a few weeks ago, just after I cleaned it. I had unscrewed the lead nearest to the unit and when I plugged it in again it didn't work. But found that the connection must be only one way, although it seems to have 4 prongs you need to try it one way and if that doesn't work, turn it round. Mine works fine again now and my cats are happy.

It's a great fountain concept but the assembly is quite fiddly. I had several fountains before and it's always a matter od assembly which is learnable but this one has a flaw. The fact that the pump needs to be exactly aligned with the shoot yet there is no proper placeholder for the pump makes it really uneasy to align. The placeholder for the pump is larger than the pump hence it doesn't define exactly where it must be placed in order to align with the shoot so it's a trial and error process.Additionally, the cable can be detached from the plug but it's in the wrong place, all the way by the plug. I just want the cable connector to split BY the fountain and not seek the end of the cable that is somewhere behind the cabinet which is a real pain.Further, I read the recommendation is to fully clean the fountain every 4 weeks? If you love your cats, you shall never allow to neglect the fountain for so long as in only one week it's filled with hair and oils from the skin etc. so needs to be fully replaced which means dealing with the fiddly cable and assembly unfortunately.

The media could not be loaded. Great item, I've be wanting one of these for ages as both my cats hate stagnant water, so I usually have to refill their bowls three times a day. The product is as described, well priced, and easy to set up and use.Being able to adjust the flow speed means I can make it to the cats preference, also the pre installed LED is great for when you're walking around in the middle of the night plus the cats love chasing the reflections, great product would recommend to all!If you found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up!

My cats love a dripping tap so thought this a perfect solution to drinking water and their fascination. The cats love it. Its ok to clean, but you have to unplug the whole unit from the wall, you cannot disconnect from the power lead. I always end up spilling the water when moving it as there isn’t any lip to stop the water. You need to top up regularly as it makes a horrible noise when water is too low. When refilling the water, plug it back in first then top up the water with a jug as you will end up spilling it.
