The BEST dressing ever
I've been using Angelo Pietro for years. It's an excellent savory salad dressing. The flavor is hard to describe, sort of asian but well balanced between tangy and salty, just a bit of sesame flavor. It isn't sweet and has no cholesterol. A little goes a long way, especially on mild lettuce like romaine or iceberg. The dressing doubles as a good marinade, too, especially for chicken or fish. It's great on salmon. Seriously, this stuff is a crowd pleaser. My kids love it. My parents love it. I accidentally ordered a bottle to my office and it disappeared before I could get it home. Highly recommend that you try it.

It's Not Japanese Steakhouse Ginger Salad Dressing
I bought this dressing hoping it would have the same taste as the typical Japanese steakhouse ginger dressing. It didn't, although it was pleasant enough - and more like a very light Italian dressing with a VERY mild taste. So mild in fact that two of us used half the bottle on our (2) salads in order to flavor them to suit.I wouldn't buy it again, either as an Italian or a ginger dressing.

The Sesame Miso dressing is delicious, but be aware, but I got sent the wrong flavor twice
Regarding the Sesame Miso flavor dressing, the dressing is delicious! Add it on top of some mixed greens, pecans, tomatoes, and imitation crab and you have yourself a tasty salad. You can also mix the dressing with some soy sauce and brown sugar to dress some charred shishito peppers. The dressing also works well as a marinade. The one thing to look out for is that I was sent the wrong flavor twice by Amazon. Though I ordered the Sesame Miso flavor, was was sent the original flavor. It looks like what happened was that somebody put the Sesame Miso barcode sticker onto the Original flavor bottles.

Not much ginger
I was looking for a ginger dressing that was similar to what I had in Japanese restaurants and after trying this dressing... my search continues. The rice vinegar is pretty overpowering. If you're looking for a strong vinaigrette you might like this but if you're looking for something like a Japanese ginger dressing it's best to look elsewhere. I'll probably try this out as a marinade, seems like it would work well for that purpose.

IT JUST TASTES WEIRD
Sesame, miso, what could go wrong? Gosh, I was soooooo looking forward to this dressing, waiting patiently by the mailbox, and when it arrived I raced it into the kitchen and used it on the spring salad that was waiting patiently in the fridge for it to arrive. Et voila?? Now let me express that I am not blaming anyone in particular for their acid trip of a dressing, but prolly the hands that made it are the culprit (bandit). The smell: dying fish, lots of them. The texture: loogey-like coagulated spittle. The taste! Time to change the fryer oil funk, with a smarmy, unwelcome sweetnenss. The rancid oil product that all these joyfull roadkillesque taints are suspended in, has defied Mother Nature by bonding with the other liquids in the mix, despite the rumor that oil and water don't mix, and forming ropes of gelatinous blob. TBH, I was overwhelmed, my senses were overwhelmed by the freakish of naturish flavor profile: again, an unwelcome sweetness that's galling, sesame in the smell, but hot peanut butter and sweat sock in the taste. Let me not forget the bottle, which resists opening up, so apply more pressure and get a squirtley spritz all over. And I haven't yet been able to get the smell out of a great t-shirt I was wearing. And why do I write so many words about this horrible stuff? Because why didn't they make a toasty and smooth and tart and savory and tempting bottle of dressing? What is so hard about that? Y'all prolly tried umpteen extra hard to create this mind blowing mess. Simply whisking a couple of fresh things together and you have a a lovely vinaigrette. It took 16 seconds! And edible, delicious. This dressing is the opposite of that.

Little bit goes a long way
This salad dressing is great. I am not a huge fun of salad, but this salad dressing makes me to eat more salad. It has wonderful Japanese soy sauce flavor to it and you don't need to pour like you ranch dressing, so you definitely cut some calories there. I sometime marinade chicken breast in this dressing and grill it. You can make some delicious grilled chicken!!!

One of the best tasting dressings!
I used to buy this dressing at a Japanese grocery store in Japantown in San Francisco. I live in Nevada so I had to travel to go shopping there. Due to the pandemic, I am not traveling like I was able to do before. I am so glad I found this dressing through Amazon. The item came expeditiously and if I remember correctly, the price is even better than what I was paying at the store.

The most unique and delicious of the Angelo Pietro Dressings!
Before I bought a 3 pack of Angelo Pietro Dressings with the Orignial, Miso/Sesame, and Gingervarieties but I'm really only coming back to purchase more of the Original Flavor! Don't get me wrong, the other flavors were very good but I wouldn't consider them anything really unique to other Japanese dressings on the market. This Original Dressing though is something I can't say I've every had before. It truly is a blend of Japanese and Italian tastes, melding a vinegar tang with a small subtle sweetness. Everyone in my household loves it with pretty much anything, personally love it with a bit of pita bread as a go-to snack. But as others have said use it sparingly as a little goes a long way, it is flavorful enough with only a few drops. And also I recommend reusing the bottles for homemade sauces and dressings, the packaging and design of their bottles are so wonderful, practical and visually appealing. Great taste and design A++ !!
