When I opened the package I thought I made a big mistake in buying this. I took my time and looked it over and figure out what the zippers were for and all those straps. I think a lot of people over thought this product, there are no instructions but it is easy to install in the car or truck, I wish it had come with a safety leash (short leash that you loop a seat belt through and hitch to your pup's collar)feature but I had a couple of those so, not a problem. So basically you zip the 2 zippers (they do not line up) now you have a thing that looks like a box with a long end on one side, place the box on the car seat, push the fold into the seat space between the back of and the bottom part of the seat, use the included tube to keep it tucked in. seat belt the cover in place, run the seat belt where the zippers connect. Wrap the top strap around the seat and fasten. You're done. We added a heart beat / heated pillow a pad and a little blanket for our new puppy for the trip home.

There are a lot of car seats that advertise for dogs up to 25lbs. I have one of them, and I have a 16lb Shiba girl. She has long legs and a little taller than a lot of 'little' dogs. So, this time around I was looking at the dimensions more than anything and made sure to get something bigger because she literally took up the whole basket with no room to stretch. This is the answer, an added bonus, although it doesn't come with a really padded bottom, the dimensions are perfect for a standard pillow, so you can put a regular pillow in, with any cute pillow case you like or easily change the style with pillow cases. The side walls are pretty high so even adding this doesn't make the walls to short. The dimensions basically fit a whole typical car seat. My dog loves it and if the typical car seat size for 'smaller' dogs doesn't work, get this one!

We have a 40lb dog that fits in this perfectly and it's easy to install and remove. I only have two complaints that warranted a 4 star rating instead of 5 - The front of the cover doesn't have any strap to hold it forward on the seat so it starts to move back, reducing the dog's space. The other issue is the strap tightening and loosening device on the back strap is a pain to extend or tighten if using on different size seats. If they fixed those two pieces, it would be a 5 star review because the cover is great and has protected my seats from a car sick puppy already, so it's definitely worth the money.

This helped keep the dog in the front seat and kept the fur from getting all over my car seat, when he would settle down and ride in It . I had to use it with a belt that attached to the seat belt or he would have jumped right out. It would be great for a dog that likes to just chill in the car and go for a ride. However the dog I was using it for wouldn’t settle Down in it and then kept turning around and got all wrapped up in the belt I had attached and then would lay on the sides and they would collapse. It fit perfectly in my front seat and is a great idea if your dog will cooperate

I bought this for our puppy we’re going to pick up in a couple weeks so I could test it out beforehand. So glad I bought it early, because I will be returning this and getting an actual WATERPROOF car seat cover. I took it out of the packaging and it looks exactly like the product photos, however I held it up to the light, and saw holes! Where the quilt stitching is, are tiny holes all over the bottom, sides, and back. I thought, well maybe they had a plastic liner in there somewhere that sealed the holes made with the stitching, and no. I poured water onto the seat, and my chair was soaked underneath the cover. How can they claim it’s waterproof? Maybe if you need it to be waterproof and are willing to work with it, I’d suggest buying a dog bed/cushion that is waterproof to put inside, because it’s basically porous (Or add a puppy pad to line and dispose). For me, I expected a product that was what it said it was, so I’m returning and buying something that’s more accurately described.

I bought this before going on a roadtrip to pick up my puppies (6 months old at the time), and they rode comfortably for 10 hours, plus I felt assured and more confident knowing that they would be secure in a seat and feel more comfortable and safe. They had a bit of car sickness and the car seat caught up all of the mess and was easy to rinse and wash out. I would recommend for puppies and toy-small breeds. It is durable and comfy, but one downside is it's not very sturdy. My pups grew out of their car seat in less than a month! Which is sad because they looked so adorable in it, but now they're getting bigger and have much more energy and curiosity, so I can't keep them seated any longer.

The design and the material overall is nice but what’s really bad is the zippers they break easily this product would be excellent if they just put a better functioning zipper that doesn’t come apart it’s useless without the zipper because you can’t keep it together so it becomes dysfunctional

I loved this product! My lab puppy enjoyed sitting in it as we drove around. It kept my seats clean and also contained all of his toys and chewies that he liked to enjoy on our rides. There is nothing worse than when your pup drops a bone or a toy on the floor and can't get to it.
