I've tested this out in the deserts of Burning Man and Moab, and it works great! One caveat: it gets rather hot inside the case when it's collecting power from the sun, so if you're charging something you should make sure that you don't leave electronics in the case whilst doing so. No complaints on durability so far. Being able to separate the battery is nice. One thing that would be quite useful is an adapter that charges the battery from a wall socket -- sure, at that point, you don't need the solar panel, but sometimes you do have some power availability. Since the point of this is solar power, I don't take any points off from not supporting the wall outlet option. Fast delivery, quite useful, very happy with this purchase. By keeping the iPhone/iPad in Airplane mode, you can essentially charge them indefinitely.
