Antonio Carluccio: The Collection

It's clear why Carluccio has such a devoted following. His descriptions, and quiet asides, clearly demonstrates his love for Italy and Italian food. And of course, the recipes we have tried are outstanding!

I read about the recipes in this collection, a while back. Could not wait to get my hands on it....and it was worth the wait. I wanted simple rustic and the recipes met my expectations. Casual entrees for entertaining and relaxing with friends....to preparing those special dinners for two. Love. Love. Love. The rustic ragu is just right!

The top right hand corner of the cover has been crushed and torn and also has tea or coffee stains all over the front cover!The book itself is fine, it’s just a shame about the cover. Possibly my mistake having thought it was in excellent condition.

I have several Antonio Carluccio books and inevitably many, if not all - I haven't checked, are contained in this book but I suppose this is the point. It is a most excellently produced book with very clear instructions and some helpful side comments. The main thing is that I have never cooked a Carluccio recipe that didn't work.By the way, I purchased this a a "previously used book." It was in excellent condition and arrived very promptly. I will definitely be using this supplier again.

Quite a good book. Its a nice large size with quality pages, so its easy to flickj through when cooking etc. Some of the recipes are pretty basic but there are a lot of more complex recipes that I dont think I will try as I can never be bothered to cook. Having a flick through, there are some nice recipes that i havent seen before and I will be asking someone else to cook for me.A better book than a few of the latest Jamie Oliver ones on offer and a lot more variation on pasta dishes too.

I liked the price and of course you can’t go wrong with Carluccios recipes, just delicious

If you have watched a few TV programs or just like Antonio Carluccio and are looking for just one book then buy this one it has an enormous amount of recipes in it and is beautifully presented. Many of the recipes are so simple and contain only a few ingredients. This is a wonderful book and would also make a great gift for anyone interested in cooking.
