If you want a healthy and environmentally safe sunscreen, this is it. However, it's very thick and it does leave a white cast on darker skin. The more you put, the more ghostly you appear. I use this as a daily face sunscreen at the end of my morning skin routine. I use a very thin layer so the white cast isn't too noticeable. I haven't tried wearing makeup over it but that should help contrast the white cast. Wearing sunscreen every day is an important beauty step and this is a good alternative to those other yucky sunscreens with a million ingredients.

This product is helpful for protecting our skin, as well as helping the environment and being environmental-friendly. It contains only zinc oxide and natural minerals. There is no oxybenzone in it, which is the ingredient in most sunscreens which the general population is not aware that the ingredient (oxybenzone) can be harmful to the coral reefs in the oceans. The non-nano sunscreen (Badger) will not harm the coral reefs, nor penetrate into your bloodstream and cause toxicity.

Great product. Something I feel safe putting on my child and it doesn’t harm the wildlife in the water like other sunscreens do. I will be ording it again!

I have a fair retin-a face and my face is super dry no matter what I put on my skin seems like desert. I have fine wrinkles around my eyes and even with a heavy moisturizer by end of the day it becomes dry. I put this on before my make up and it works beautifully as a moisturizing primer! My face doesn't feel dry anymore! No more creases around my eyes. And all of my foundations are too dark for me but if I put this on before my make up everything is solved. I love this sunscreen!!

I have used this sun lotion on my kids and myself for years, and we love it! It's the only brand I trust, because it's made of only a few simple ingredients and contains no nanoparticles. My kids never get sunburned with this product. As with all physical blockers, we are careful to reapply lotion every couple hours. I also love the tinted version of this sun lotion offered by Badger. Both products work great!

Eek. I use an expensive Zinc Oxide based sunscreen on my face, and have been using it for a couple of years. I decided I needed to find something cheaper. It's hard enough finding sunscreens that use zinc oxide. I was excited to come across this.... but unfortunately it's terrible. It is extremely greasy, and as soon as I put it on my face I frantically started wiping it off because it felt like it would clog my pores in seconds.I thought about keeping it for my hands, but even then it was too greasy.It's also very hard to rub in, but that's to be expected for Zinc Oxide. However, the facial sunscreen I use now rubs in fine, even though it takes longer than normal moisturizer. The Badger stuff just kept going around and around like it was sitting on top and not absorbing.I guess I'll be sticking with the expensive stuff for now :/ Once you find a product you love, you stick with it for life, right?!

Very significant white cast as with most zinc oxide sunscreens. Left my face pretty greasy and oily even after it absorbed. It is a gentle formula and did not burn or irritate my skin thankfully, but I wouldn't really recommend if you're acne prone simply because it is so thick. That aside it works fine on the body, I use it on my decolletage, arms, shoulders and back with no problems. And there's no annoying scent, which I like. Overall good product with safe ingredients, it just did not work for my face.

Love this brand sunscreen but not fond of the plain smell. Either way i always order it again and again. Lol... i like the baby calendula better but if you prefer in scented, this is the way to go! No chemicals and natural! Protects from sunburns even if you're late to apply. It is greasy and goes on thick but that's the way sunscreen should be to protect your skin from harmful rays.
