Made with an 1/8 in. radius edge on both the gritted and polishing wheel. While this kit is designed to sharpen serrated knives, you can also re-serrate a knife's blade and establish new razor sharp serrations. This Sharpening Kit comes with all of the accessories necessary to quickly sharpen multiple serrated knives. The provided beeswax is used as a lubricant on the gritted wheel. It will help dissipate heat and avoid burn marks and extend the life of the gritted wheel. The White Diamond Polishing Compound, when applied to the slotted polishing wheel makes quick work of the resulting Burr, or wire edge left by the gritted wheel. Not only will the burr be completely removed, you'll be left with a mirror finish polish on the Serration's bevel.
