Hydration Bladder 3 Liter/100 oz - 2 Liter//70 oz- Water Bladder for Hydration Pack

The first one I received leaked from the screw cap, as other reviews noted. I contacted Baen Sendi because I thought there was supposed to be an O-ring on the screw cap to prevent leaks. After rereading reviews on Amazon and getting a response from Baen Sendi I found out there is no O-ring. I apparently just received a defective product. After getting a refund and ordering a replacement I found that the new bladder also leaked from the screw cap - when I first filled it. I then tightened the screw cap and it held with no leaks. I believe I tried tightening the first one I received and I couldn't get it to stop leaking. So bottom line, I like the product for it's two openings (fold top and screw cap). The plastic seems to be much heavier than the bladder this is replacing. The tube has a valve cover and neoprene insulating wrap. Users need to know that the screw cap needs to be on very tightly. This does make it leak free but it also makes it somewhat difficult to unscrew. Perhaps this will work easier with use.

I'm sad. I purchased this after reading all the positive reviews. I'm going camping tomorrow so I paid to have it expedited. Tonight I was filling it with water and prepping all my gear and discovered what looks like staple holes in it. I'm not going to bother returning it because I like the cleaning kit that came with it and plan on keeping those. I ended up just going to an outdoor store here in town and paying $50 for the same size bladder. I wish quality control had done a better job as I'm sure this would have worked great.

This bladder survived maybe 6 long hikes before finally failing. I never had issue with the bladder or cap. The problem was the point where the hose connects. It wedges in and twists/locks into place with little triangular teeth. The problem is they're plastic, and over time the teeth wear down causing the hose to slip. I recently replaced it with a different system that uses a spring-loaded button hose connector, and it works much better.

I had the same problem that some other reviewers had in that it leaked from the screw cap. Didn't realize it until the first night of my backpacking trip. Otherwise this thing seems very well thought out in all it's features. Unfortunately leaking water is a deal breaker and all the best features in the world can't make up for that. A lot of people seem to like it, so if you buy it, just test it to make sure you didn't get a leaker before you go on a multi-day backpacking trip in the back country.

Cleaning kit is nice!Cap leaks a lot. No gasket in the cap... not sure if there is suppose to be one or not, but water pours out of the cap even when tight.

The fact that the top is not sealed means that if you bend over to tie your shoes, water starts coming out and your pack gets wet. If I knew this, I would have not purchased the bladder. This is a non-starter for winter hiking. I will only use the pack during the warmer months.The cleaning kit is pretty good.

Similar to reviews from other folks who availed this product, it leaks from the screw cap (no o-ring). Returning. Hope they can fix this.
