Head and Shoulders Shampoo 13.5 Fl. Oz

I was a bit skeptical before ordering this line of products but after reading one particular review of someone that described a scalp issue that was similar to mine I decided to give it a try. My first time using it I didn't notice an immediate difference, my scalp was still slightly dry especially around the edges. I oiled my scalp with the daily cream to see if that would help. The oil did help with the dry scalp but you have to use it sparingly, if you use too much it will dry with a white residue. The directions say to use the oil 1 to 4 times daily but I have never used it more than a time or two and I definitely wasn't using it every day. After using this line two times I absolutely have a more healthier scalp with a normal itch compared to a very dry and inflamed scalp with intense itching. I am so excited that I decided to give this line a try, it is by far the only product that has helped me with my horrible scalp issues. I bought the shampoo, the regular and deep conditioners, the daily moisture scalp cream and the instant soothe elixir from this line. I haven't had to use the elixir yet because my scalp barely itches in between washes. Give it a try if you desire to have a healthy, moisturized and itch free scalp.

This A/D shampoo genuinely surprised me. Noticed a drastic difference on the 4th use (85% gone) and had no noticeable signs after the 5th use. Switched back to standard shampoo for a about a week as a test and dandruff has came back to a 15% level but holding steady. Will definitely be buying again and restart use. Very thick shampoo, smells better than any anti-dandruff shampoo I've ever found. Brushing through hair after use isn't as harsh as shampooed hair but not quite as easy as conditioned hair. Also holds up to blow drying/straightening. White male with longer brown hair. I would highly recommend this product. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION WHEN USING. It states Clearly not to let it get in your eyes as most shampoos do.

I have had dandruff since I was about 13 I am now 27 I was always looking for shampoos & product to get rid of it nothing worked not even the medicated products however I came across this hair care line & purchased it not having high expectations but oh my was I surprised I used this hair care line once & it got rid of my dandruff my scalp has never looked or felt so clean in years I am super grateful and I love & swear by this products & the scent is to die for it does not dry out my scalp & it’s just amazing I love it & recommend it 100%

so after reading a few reviews from other curly hair white people that used this, i thought i would give it a shot. i usually wear my hair VERY BIG and curly so i need frizz + some slight build up on my hair to get it to dramatic heights. this shampoo did its job in that i have no dandruff or itchiness! BUT it really stripped my hair of oils/build up too much that it was difficult to style it and it fell flat after day two (usually my style can last up to five days). it was like it made my hair TOO soft so if you are a curly girl that wants to tame your hair down and also get rid of flakes, this is great! however it is just not the product for me personally. i did get a few other items from this lineup, namely the hydrating scalp serum which is LOVELY and highly recommended, the scalp elixir treatment that feels very very nice, and the water activated scalp scrub which i am still testing out.

I have been suffering with severe dandruff for years now, and I spend a lot of money on different types of shampoos, creams, products.. You name it. I never thought that this shampoo would solve my problem especially that I have used different kind of head and Shoulders Shampoo before that didn't help with my problem. I have a normal to oily hair, and this shampoo works like magic! Keep in mind that it will not get rid of dandruff permanently (I don't think that such a product exist) but it will definitely control it very well. No more itches, red spot on scalp, and dandruff on eyebrows, ears, nose. Thank you head and Shoulders. Update I am on my second bottle now, and I can honestly say that my dandruff is completely gone! Unbelievable! I will be a customer for life and I will never change this shampoo. I think the secret is the apple vinegar works very well against dandruff.

In late March 2020 I caught the first strain of COVID. After a three week battle I was left with some lingering effects, one of which was....dandruff. It's not a common after effect but it happened to me. I tried a bunch of different dandruff shampoos, most of which smell like charcoal and horror and none of them worked. I bought this shampoo on a whim and couldn't believe how quickly it solved my problem. It only took a few days. Not only that, but it also smells great. I haven't had any dandruff at all since I discovered this shampoo almost three years ago. Now swear by it. I use nothing else. Great product.

Truth be told, I didn’t have huge flaky dandruff. Mine was more “salt-like”. But having to wear black every day for work, it became more noticeable over the past year or so. I always used regular Head and Shoulders every other day to keep the flakes away and never had any problem. But it was just getting worse. My mom has really bad psoriasis on her back and she bought this just to help with her scalp and noticed her psoriasis breakouts on her back were starting to fade. Now I’m not saying to use this on your body, but she has always had a hard time controlling her breakouts and was surprised to see what it was doing for her back, just by allowing the shampoo to rinse off her hair and fall onto her back. Needless to say she recommended it for my flakes and I now have this on automatic ordering through Amazon. It is the only place I can find it. Very satisfied.

If you are suffering from dandruff, the cause is most likely your washing routine as opposed to your hair products. I went through this battle myself. It's a vicious cycle, you get dandruff, so you naturally want to wash your hair more often with products like head and shoulders to help. When in actuality, it is this frequent hair washing with products like this that are causing your dandruff. YOU SHOULD NEVER WASH YOUR HAIR EVERY DAY. Everyone is different, but AT THE MOST for the majority of people, you should only wash your hair twice a week. I only do it once a week and I have very healthy hair, and my dandruff is gone. The washing process actually dries your hair and scalp, and the frequent washing prevents the natural oil build up that your scalp and hair needs to maintain proper moisturization. NO SHAMPOO WILL FIX YOUR DANDRUFF ISSUE FOR YOU. Shampoo does not moisturize your hair, no matter what a label says, that isn't it's purpose, shampoo CLEANS your hair. Conditioner moisturizes your hair, and you should be using oil (jojoba, coconut, argon) to moisturize your SCALP. I really hope this helps someone, I dealt with poor self esteem for so long because of dandruff, and the real solution was such an easy fix. Do your research and find out what will work best for your hair type. This is not a bad product, and if you want to use it as your shampoo, that's great (though I would recommend something a little more natural), just know that it won't be a magic fix to your problem, the real fix is changing your grooming routine.
