The pictured hose did not come with the product so I had to use old existing hose to install the part. It did work as I had hoped so had a good ending. Seller should either replace the existing add to reflect the absence of hose or make sure to ship hose with part.

Oem part. I try always to buy original equipment manufacturers parts. You avoid a lot of "making it work" when you get an oem part. Easy to install. Take off the compressor cover (usually cardboard) with a 1/4 nut driver or drill then 2 screws holds the valve on. Remove the hose by pushing it in then pulling out (hold ring on push connector) remove plugs from solenoid. Do in reverse to install. Verify no leaks before pushing the fridge back

Glad I ordered this part for $10 more than the universal replacement pump. No modifications of any kind were needed. Simply removed the old unit and replaced it with this one. Operation took about 15 or 20 minutes. No drilling of new holes, no modification of hoses, no adapters to install. The repair was made to a KitchenAid side by side refrigerator which is now 15 yrs. old. Similar Whirlpool and Kenmore models will probably use the same part. The Amazon feature where you put in the model number of the refrigerator to see if the part fits was used and it was exactly correct. Have seen this part listed on appliance repair websites for $35 more than what it costs on Amazon. Recommended without reservation.

Misleading picture shows lots of tubing only a 3 inch piece of tube came in I wold have bought a different one except the picture showed several feet of tubing. We will be returning this .

Very simple install! Everything I needed was included in the package. I would recommend this product. Our Whirlpool refrigerator was purchased new in 2005. The model number is ED5JHGXRQ00.

This seller sent the product quickly and it was identical to the OEM part. Very easy replacement and works like a charm. Best price I could find. Didn't need the valve and tubing but glad to have it so nice addition.

Had to do a few small modifications to make it fit properly. However the electrical connections that are the most important were an exact fit. Just had to make certain they were installed the exact same direction and color coded as the one removed. They install both directions but only one way works. This is a universal product so i expected that. Any DIYr can do this. great value and price. Works better than expected.
