I had thought about getting this decal in black, but decided to get in brown and could not be happier. Just re-did our bathroom and painted it a tan color with tan tiles, and the brown looks perfect. There are four pieces to this decal and I broke the decal into pieces- used two to go around the bathroom window and two to go around the bathroom door. I took breaks when applying it, and even with taking breaks took no more two hours to apply.What seemed to make it easier was as I was applying each piece, after I would get part of the decal on the wall and have part of the sticky paper hanging off, I would cut the excess paper off to make applying easier. It does take time and patience, but if you go slow like the directions say, it is painless and effortless. Also, I laid the decals flat on the table and weighed them down for a few days before applying so that they did not curl up as I was working with them. I have purchased quote decals from Khols and Target before, and I found the stickerbrand one much easier to apply. I did the work alone, did not need any extra help, and again, as long as you work slow and make sure to just go over your pieces, everything came off just fine, no bubbles, no rips, nothing. I will purchase decals from stickerbrand again for sure.**Update: July 16th, 2015- this decal has been up for 3 years now and still looks amazing! No bubbling, no peeling- I still get tons of compliments!

Looks very nice on my dark purple accent wall. Was very time consuming and tricky to get it up though. First getting it lined up and flattened without bubbles. Then peeling off the backing, some of the smaller flower petal shapes/dots/etc stayed on the backing so I ended up having to manually place them.

Easy to install. Looks really good. Very happy.

This decal added the touch I was looking for to my nursery. It was very easy to put up. I didn't follow the instructions included in the package because I found it easier to do it a different way. The best thing to do is to take all the pieces out and lay them flat for a couple of days perhaps with something laying on top of them in order to flatten the sheets out. They will be rolled up like a poster for packaging, so this makes them much easier to work with if they don't keep rolling up on you. The instructions say to tape the decal to the wall with the paper backing still on. Then you peel the backing off starting from the top and work your way to the bottom while pressing the top sheet onto the wall as you go. This did not work well for me because it is such a big piece of backing paper and it kept getting in the way. It made it hard to get the decal flat and flush with the edges of the wall without it wrinkling up or getting offset. It is easier to peel the backing off before you stick it onto the wall so that it is out of your way. Go ahead and rub the pieces with a credit card or squeegie first to ensure that all of the decal sticks to the top sheet. This makes it much easier to work with and you can position it better. Also, you can lightly stick it to the wall in a couple places to get your position right. As long as you dont press firmly on it, you can pull it back off and re-position it if you need to. Once you have the position right you can easily smooth it onto the wall and begin using your credit card or squeegie to adhere the decal to the wall. I did mine this way and it came out perfect. I had no trouble and it looks so good!

Fantastic product and easy to apply! Just follow the directions and TAKE YOUR TIME. The slower the better. In the instructions they'll tell you to cut off the excess paper where the pattern isn't - learned the hard way - DO IT. The smaller the decal the easier it is to work with and apply. No need for excess paper when theres no decal on it. Be sure to press hard when you've applied it and you should be fine. Once the decal is applied, try pulling off the top paper from different angles to make sure the smaller dots and thin lines stay in place. I ended up applying this to a swedish made dresser and it looks like a custom made piece. THANKS STICKERBRAND!

I absolutely love this gold wall decal. It was easy to put up and looks beautiful on my wall. I would def recommend this product. I would order this again as well.

The design is gorgeous ! However , because of the delicate swirls and filigrees, they would not come off of the decal paper ! The decal papers stuck to the wall better than the decals ! I had some trouble peeling off the ends and dots and re-applying them onto the walls. It took me almost a whole day to get these 4 decals up! It was very time consuming and frustrating .. but it's finally done !

I love how this looks on my wall. It does take some work to apply, but if done the right way it is well worth the effort. What worked best for me was to press the sheet lightly to the wall. This makes it easy to reposition if you're not happy with the placement. Then, working from the top corner in, I scraped heavily and repeatedly over the paper backing with the credit card to get the sticker to adhere to the wall. I peeled the paper away as I performed this process, and if the sticker wasn't coming off easily I pressed the paper back to the wall and scraped some more with the credit card. It is time consuming but it worked beautifully. I didn't lose so much as a single little dot. This decal has been on my wall for over year now and it still looks like it was just done. Great product.
