I bought these in order to create a bunch of OS installer drives, including a backup installer to re-install Windows 10 Home Edition (in case I wanted to revert my laptop back to its factory install settings) as well as an installer for Ubuntu 20.04, Kubuntu 20.04, and some other Linux flavors. This drive worked both with Windows (where I was generating the backup installer) and on Mac OS (the system where I was downloading and writing the Linux installers). On the newly installed Linux, I've also found these to work.In short, they are widely compatible (I've found in the past some other competing USB thumbdrives to have been formatted in a way that doesn't work with multiple OSes). And they also have sufficient storage space for creating OS install drives and for backing up software as well as documents (backing up a lifetime collection of music, videos, and photos however is likely to be a different story ... for that, you may want to consider a more expensive external drive or a cloud service that supports such backups).

Even with an samsung evo m.2 with crazy clock and transfer speeds along with a threadripper is this incapable of reaching usb 2.0 transfer speeds. I tried 2.0, 3.0, and 3.1 ports and could not break 8 MB/s which is 64 Mbps. USB 2.0 should be at 480 Mbps or 60 MB/s. Also I haven't even used them all yet, but after about 20 uses one already crapped out on me. The color variants and leashes are pretty cool, but unfortunately the drives themselves are crap. I should've just bought a 3.0 for 256 GB stick at the same price. I thought I could use it to spread out info but I'm now afraid I'll lose any of it at any given time.

The storage size of the drove was exactly what I needed for my students in my Digital Literacy class. In fact this was my second order! It came with lanyards but they were not breakaway. So, I used them for something else and purchased the breakaway lanyards required by my school district. The hot swapable feature is great for those students that forget how to properly eject the drive. Will purchase more in the future.

I got the 1GB for my sewing machine it’s one of those machines that can’t read over 1GB and it works for storing my embroidery designs. The fact that it comes in a five pack for the price makes it a must buy, my machine came with one but it’s full and I tried to buy one where I bought my sewing machine and it’s way too expensive. When I saw all the pretty colors and thought that I would get the same but there are other sizes that hold more and bigger packs so I didn’t get a pink one but for the price I am very pleased with this purchase. Hopefully I won’t have to buy again for awhile it is five of them.

Bought these two image with various different firmwares for the many varieties of machines I work with. Great write speed, great capacity, lanyards are great, flashing light indicates connection. I will be buying again as we expand.

I used these to hand to students in a class that I had that contained files for the class. Each one loaded without a snag. Not all colors are lighted, but a class of all guys really didn’t care, and I gave the pretty pink one to my director!

Not much to say they are what you by. Storage is as advertised. And are great if you need bulk. Wish they had caps or something to protect them when I not plugged in and aren't necessarily water proof, you get what you pay for.

Works for me - thus far.Wanted small memory stick to be able to transfer music from PC to play in car. No clutter with security codes or other rubbish. These are simply blank. Lovely..Crazy modern car has no place to shove in a CD whilst bombing along the M25, so I have to fiddle about under the dashboard and plug in a memory stick - or Blue-Tooth to tablet, but the latter too much hassle.These do fine to put on a couple of CDs or whatever, not too many as it is a pain finding tracks on the screen, and not too few, otherwise I have to change sticks too often, which means taking eyes off the road for a while, which is illegal at best and fatal at worst. So I never do the latter of course..honestly officer..Bring back proper cars with CD players and manual controls.. I do not want to be stuck on a motorway in February, in the snow, at 2 am, with a window wide open because a teeny weeny french fuse has blown somewhere and there is no manual window winder. Bought 40 of these. Just note that some are 1,998,083,712 bytes and some are 2,012,971,008. Only a small difference but if you are planning on mass imaging these devices ensure you check and image the lower size as you could run into issues where your image is too large for the smaller sticks. They all looks the same. Out of 40 I had zero failures. The write time is pretty average, but that is to be expected for this price point. They do not run hot. When in use there is an internal LED that flashes which some might find useful, or annoying. The manufactured quality seems perfectly acceptable, of course the metal clip can be easily, or accidentally removed and easily reattached. Overall value for money.

I bought these to transfer videos made by my students 29 years ago, because they were made in VHS format I converted them into Avi and loaded them onto memory sticks, there were 8 students from Malaysia, each with different experiences of visiting me, I colour coded them and sent them all together to one person to distribute in Malaysia, they were all delighted with the quality of the product.

I needed some smallish (capacity) USB2 memory devices and there aren't a lot of choices these days. I was disappointed how frequently the data couldn't be read off the device after copying making them almost useless. Some of them seem to work alright, some of them have memory errors at a rate I don't get with my other devices. I can copy 20 files and 8 of them are unreadable. Sometimes even the copy operation fails.But, there aren't many alternatives for USB storage that works with older devices.

With 10, I have used each one for each camera model I have owned, and used one loosely for Places and one for Cars for use with a Digital Photo Frame I bought earlier (which I thought expensive by about a third). I also bought a permanent marker pen, which does not appear permanent on the metal casing of the USB sticks. Anyway good value and would recommend if you have loads of photos taken on different cameras.
