It's easy to replace the old mechanic T101. It's easy to set up and run smoothly so you don't have to worry to adjust the time forever.

This is a good device but the design is weird. It took me a couple of tries to figure out the issue.During setup, we need to1. install the battery2. Make sure the device is ON, otherwise, you need to RESET.3. Finally you can connect the power.Otherwise the AUTO function will not work. The device would stay ON or OFF all the time. It is written in the installation manual (see the photo) but it is simply weird. I am not sure if it is a design issue or I have a faulty one. But if you have the same issue, you can1. Turn off power, keep the battery on.2. RESET, but push ENTER & RESET at same time.3. Turn the power back on.Hopefully it will start to follow the times you set up. Finally, the bottom right corner indicates the status of the timer(On or Off). You can check that without using a multimeter.

This electronic controller, when new, does a great job. Unfortunately this particular unit was advertised as being new but was in fact either used or returned damaged. I purchased several of these units in the past and can tell a new item from a used item. I guess it's a question of buyer beware. I highly recommend that buyers check out who's actually selling the product. In this case I mistakenly purchased it from what appears to be pawn shop broker. It was returned for a full refund.

This is an easy to use and Industrial Grade Intermatic timer. That should say it all.
