Monsters University Big Golden Book (Disney/Pixar Monsters University) Hardcover – Picture Book, May 14, 2013

Great book, just like the movie. Definitely lengthy, just like the movie , but my son loves both. Be prepared, this story takes about 20 mins to read for bedtime lol .

My 4-year old son recently saw Monsters University and loved it. I enjoy the Big Golden Books, so got him this one since he loves the movie so much. The illustrations are good and look like the movie. The story is fine and mostly follows the movie. Throughout the story, there is text hi-lighted in bold for no reason. It didn't make sense to have that, but it doesn't necessarily distract from the story. It's just a strange tid-bit. The only thing that disappointed my son was that the CDA (Child Detection Agency) monsters that are cool-looking, all in yellow, and appear at the end of the movie are not in the book. My son calls them the 'monster police' and kept asking where the monster police were. If your child likes the Monsters University movie, this is a great book to go along with it.

Can definitely tell it’s been used.. but you get what you pay for.

The product I received, the Monaters University hardcover children’s book, was not as advertised. It was described as a new item. The item I received was not new. It was hardcover as described, but the cover had wear. The interior pages were also not in new condition, but rather were bent and soiled as pictured.I’m sure the written content was charming, but I was not comfortable keeping a book that had this degree of wear and tear.

One, If not, my sons favorite book! Mirrors the movie perfectly!

My boy loved it!!! We bought it for his monsters b-day themed, and he was thrilled with it. Nice pictures and illustrations, good for ages 3+ .... Simply Monsters ;-)

Love the size of the book and the illustration. Still holding it for a down the road gift but I am very pleased with it. Shipping was great too, came right when expected.

I picked this up because I'm a fan of the series. If you're looking for something for younger kids to read though I would also highly recommend the book. The text is easy to read and the book is full of large illustrated pictures based on the movie for kids to enjoy.
