AirPress Ballpoint Pen, Barrel Colour Orange

I’ve bought a number of these fantastic pens in the past, so that I have always got one to hand. Writes in the rain, writes upside down, writes on most surfaces. What’s not to like!

This "Tombow Airpress" retractable ballpoint pen really does live up to it's makers claims! (It can write on a wet surface, ink doesn't smudge, and it can write with paper held upside down - such as against a door /wall /ledge (when you are struggling to find a flat surface to rest paper /writing pad on!). It is compact in size 123mm long and weighs 15g (with refill installed). in comparison a Lamy Safari ballpoint is 136mm long and weighs 14g, a disposable UniBall is 137mm long and weighs 9g. It is available in many colours to satisfy most aesthetic preferences.

The pen does appear to write reasonably well under some challenging conditions as claimed, and is considerably cheaper than, say, the 'space pen'. The refills are quite pricey; just a slight downside of having a capable pen. The 0.7 mm nib seems relatively fine. 4.5 stars overall.

It's does everything that they said it would

I've ben looking for a good, fine-nib retractable ballpoint pen for a good while - all of the cheaper disposable models make a line which is too thick and blobby for my preference. The Tombow Airpress is good value for a sturdy and refillable ballpoint and has a nice fine clear line. I've bought several in different colours since.

Great pens to use every day. I keep one in my pocket all the time they are smaller than you might think but chunky grip makes it an enjoyable writing experience.

It has a small form factor, feels comfortable in hand, easy to hold and glides smoothly on paper. Beautifully made.

I am part of a saurch and rescue team and this pen is just the ticket for all whether if we are out saurching it works in tbe rain its grate if paper is wet xx

Unlike the refills, I did actually get this. Seems a good, very light pen

gostei, tamanho que cabe na mão, boa pegada, escreve em qualquer posição, só nao sei quando precisar de carga, pois ela é meio pequena

I like the color. The pen is made well. It writes smoothly and flows well. The clip keeps it secure in my backpack so I don’t have to search for it. My original reason for purchase was the pressurized ink and its ability to write at odd angles.
