Awesome boots!!
These are awesome boots! I can’t believe how comfortable they are! I wear a 7 and ordered a 7. They fit perfectly! Love them!

Great shock absorbing long wearing ankle support.
These boots are both fashionable and practical. The bouncing sole design is by a doctor who had suffered a severe ankle injury. He wanted a shoe which would provide ankle support and absorb some of the shock that walking causes to your body each time you take a step. So he designed the first Dr Martin boot for himself, so that he could walk comfortably again. I am very satisfied with my pair. I like how they are made of leather so there are various balsam & polish type products available, allowing you to care for & condition your boot leather, waterproof it and make it last longer, as well as remove dirt & dust, thereby keeping your boots nice and new looking. My ankle injury actually feels better with my boots on, and they are more attractive and fun to wear. The shock absorbing soles really work! The leather does take a minute to break in. The tongue part is part of the boot, not separate like most boots. There are two folds that initially hurt a little making one at first wonder if the boot arch is not built high enough for one's foot. They also rub the heel at first enough to cause small blood stains on your sock for the first few wears. But after applying balsam to the folds on the sides of the tongue and continuing to wear the boots, (leaning into the discomfort) they broke in nicely and I have no more problems. There are no half sizes, so round up if you are a half size, because you definately don't want them to be on the tight side. I wear a 7.5 or 8, and the 8 fits me perfectly. I think Dr Martin's are overall better and more durable than other brands that are made from vegan leather and have regular rubber soles that wear out in a year. Also they seem to come with the Dr Martin's insert sole that is also sold separately, so you won't need to buy that too if you invest in a pair of boots. Enjoy and God bless you.

Fashionable, sturdy boot for club foot correction
Because of a chronic foot condition (surgically resolved club foot), I have to wear shoes that come up above the ankle and have a large enough footwell to fit my orthotics and a brace. It's kind of a shame because I'm only 25, but Doc's have saved me from having to wear much dorkier shoes. At least now I can look somewhat cool! I've been wearing Doc's for years and I have to say the quality is unsurpassed. I've worn the same pair every day for 1 1/2 years and only wore down about 25-30% of the sole. The main issue with so much consistent wear is that the leather stretches out a bit too much, leaving them feeling too big unless I'm wearing thicker socks in the winter. Some people recommend ordering a size down in Doc's so the leather has room to stretch, but I am a true size 8 and I can't imagine the pain that would come with ordering a size 7. If you plan on wearing these often, I recommend buying in your size and getting at least 2 pairs to lessen the effect of stretching the leather over time (if your wallet can take the punch!). These particular Doc's are great because the Nappa leather is smooth and while they're not completely matte, they're not nearly as glossy as Patent leather Doc's. I can get away with wearing these to work coupled with dark, straight leg pants. I don't get as may comments on them as I used to, but it's probably because I seriously wear them every day! They're a great choice if you're looking for a sturdy combat boot that also has some visual appeal.

Sizing Is Not That Weird
Best Feature: Classic, timeless, rugged as neat and def gets the work done. Worth the price even if it's NOT made in England, as the old/vintage ones were. Hello, it's been decades. Let's face it. Worst/Confusing Feature: Is not the boot itself BUT the sizing. I wear a regular 7.5 for flipflops/sandals, 8 for closed shoes/sneakers, 9 for all nikes/boots. As if it's not confusing enough, almost every review mentions how the sizing is either "too big...or too small". It will test your instincts if you can only buy stuff online. Personal Fit: With hiking socks, size 8 fit like a glove AFTER a bit of struggle to slide the forefoot in. After a few hours of a jolly kitchen and living room hiking, no longer felt stiff on the toe part. With any boot with no zippers, you need Herculean arm strength to take it off, esp when the calves are not wide like most rain boots. Other info: NOT waterproof per description. It survived a sprinkle only because they're easy to run with. Grips well on rain and will never test this on oil. Warm if worn with thick socks but that depends how warm warm is for you. It provides complete ankle support. Exactly as pictured BUT less shiny BUT also not matte. Came in with a brand new scent, no wrinkles, perfect brand new condition. Online desc says "Made in USA or Imported". Tag says "Made in Vietnam". It's like saying, "it's made here OR there". Possible Source of Discomfort: Im overseeing chaffing on the inside of calf part as it rubs with any fabric frequently. But only time can tell. It felt uncomfortable without socks and rubbed the calves at every step. Overall: It still lives up to its rep IMO. Worth the hype and price.

Great Quality
If you can get it on sale, it's great. A little squeaky but nothing a bit of wear or leather conditioner won't fix. I love the matte look and while it started out a little tight (no half sizes makes it hard to find your size), after it broke in it became much more comfortable. Not waterproof but better than sneakers in the rain, and the sole hasn't started peeling after a few months of wear.

Pretty cool
These are awesome boots. Was hoping I could deal with them having absolutely no heal height, however I just can’t.. sending them back but recommend for anyone who is looking for a rougher look. Would give 5 stars but they were also a little narrow. But my feet might be just a little wider than norm. I am a true size 8 ordered an 8 and the length was perfect.. hope this helps.

Great boots. Comfy. Good fit. It too heavy to walk in. Good value for money and stylish

Had them over a year and they're still going strong. They're amazing. They keep your feet warm, they're very reliable, very strong and durable (wearability.) I use them for work and I love them. I will advise you need to wear thick socks until they're bedded in because they will tear the back of your feet apart, so be prepared. The value for money is alot but it is worth it. They are sturdy (stiffness).

The boots looks good quality, the stitching is immaculate and they feel sturdy. They can be stiff at first but once you use them a lot, they'll start to feel very comfy. . My initial concern at first were the authencity of the boots, I got the Made in Bangladesh, but after doing some close inspection, research and looking on some Reddit opinions. They are indeed authentic Doc Martens. . I would've love the Made in England ones. To have those though you have to pay for another 200$ CAD but I'm on a budget, so these ones are fine I guess and I still love them💕
