I figured this would be one of those "you get what you pay for deals" There are a ton of options out there and some in excess of $125. I bought this for considerably less and actually have never fully mounted it. I used HD hook/loop velcro and it has not moved at all. It's not horribly loud, and made a huge difference to get the heat out in front of the fireplace. A solid value for someone wanting a little more out of an existing gas fireplace.

It wasn’t clear how to wire the fan. Had to look at others for sale and found a picture of one wired to be able to figure it out. Directions are a joke for sure. But it works good. Great improvement to the fireplace without question. A pro wanted $250 and $100 to install. I did it myself easy peas E. If I can do it so can you. Just find the right one for your fireplace model. You’ll be happy you did. Then you can flex to all the other dads In the neighborhood as to why they haven’t done this and if they need help you know how. It was super easy.

I ordered this as a replacement for a discontinued fan in my Winnebago motorhome fireplace. All measurements were the same as the old one, just had to change the mounting. Had to remove the mounts and replace with the old mounts, then the installation was straight forward.

Quiet fan. Quick delivery. I honestly think at times its hit or miss to find a good one. The prior one, another replacement, shook and vibrated a lot and was quite noisy. Again, this one very quiet. When i looked this time, i specifically made sure it said ball bearing. We know a lot of this type of stuff is just rebranded from the same manufacturer. Don't know if all have ball bearings and some are just brass sleeve and i was just lucky this time. But for the money, cant go wrong!!!

Noisy. I returned it and bought infinity, which is much better.

So I've recieved this with everything pictured and it looks like it will work fine. I havnt installed it yet. But It resembles the ones in my Napoleon fireplace insert. The replacement from Napoleon was $260 plus and this one was about $37 I'll give it a try for $37 bucks.

Bought as a gift for a fireplace with no fan. Easy set up and blows the heat perfecting.

Works well to retrofit on my Napoleon LHD45. Fan is louder than expected, but I have nothing to compare against. Sounds bit like listening to a vacuum in another room. As such I keep it at around 30% speed and it only gives a faint whine. Included instructions aren't completely clear, it refers to a 'red' wire when in the picture you can clearly see it's green. My fireplace is new, but it's finished - so the fan couldn't be installed from the front because the bottom of my fireplace is blocked by stonework.. Had to remove the surround, front glass, burner, glass media, floor, igniter, and another floor. But around 50 screws later and some cuts on my forearm, it's done. If you're having a tough time with included instructions. White wire from plug to fan. Black wire from plug to temp sensor. Black wire from temp sensor to fan speed control. Black wire from fan speed control to fan. Green wire is ground, there should be a grounding screw somewhere under your fireplace to connect to.

put this in 3 years ago and still working great

I installed this fireplace fan in Nap Natural Gas Fireplace (one of several manufacturer it fits). The seller sent the unit very quickly and all the parts were there. Install instructions could have been better written, but it is for several different makes and manufacturers of fireplaces and the install was a bit intuitive with all the wires labelled and supplied with pre-installed quick connects. The instructions only deal with the install of the fan, not the individual fireplace manual for gaining access to the area needed for the install.The fan is MUCH much quieter that my last fireplace, but that could be because it was over 25 years old. (this one is a different and newer fireplace I am installing this in ;-)A thick pad for sound dampening is pre-installed on the back of the mounting plate of the fan.The unit comes on automatically with a sensor attached to the back wall of the fireplace by magnet.The only items I had to purchase was- a 1/4" course thread nut as this was a new install.- a plug adaptor to change from a 3 prong plug supplied in the blower kit (my fireplace had a 2 prong receptacle). Less than $3Overall I am impressed with this fan and would recommend this seller.
