PolanerFruit Sprd Blk Cherry

I love Polaner All-Fruit. Been using it for 20-plus years. My favorites are seedless blackberry and cherry. Unfortunately, the cherry is not available locally. All the Polaner jams that are in local stores are $3.69 - 3.99 per 10 oz. bottle. It's a bummer that I can't have the cherry because I won't pay the exorbitant price. When I got it last year, it was $12.49. Now it's $15.00.

When I look at the jellies and jams in the grocery store I just feel sad. Jar upon jar of high sugar, high fructose corn syrup often with only a mere suggestion of real fruit. When a jar with no sugar finally reveals itself on the shelf one usually finds it filled with chemicals whose efficacy and safety over the sugar and corn is dubious. Then, on a lucky day, one might find a few jars of Polaner All-fruit. Sure, there are carbs and ultimately sugar but it is at least a bit more like nature intended and the taste is fantastic. But this isn't some kind of awful, bland, crunchy-granola hippie health food - It's delicious! Those store shelves are packed full of garbage leaving precious little room for a wide flavor variety of Polaner All-fruit. Given the scarcity of this wonderful production I do not begrudge the price much when I find it.On the cherry jam specifically....To me, it tastes like if you baked a cherry danish but using only fruit - This tastes like the cherry filling of the cherry danish. I toast some sprouted-grain bread, slather on a thick layer of grass-fed butter, and top it with a generous helping of the Polaner jam. Fantastic!If you like this stuff please do us all a favor and tell all your friends and family. The store shelves are filled with crap because that's what people are buying (and what food megacorps are pushing). We need as many people as possible using any and all flavors of Polaner All-fruit because my fear is it will be pulled from the market eventually in favor of more fake 'food'. Support what you love! This jam is so delicious & has chunks of cherries in it, sweetened in fruit juice...no added real or phoney sugar. I hate that it's $8/jar so can't afford an endless supply, but it's a treat, even used sparingly. Get some! You'll love it.

Pretty good cherry taste and nice pieces of fruit in the spread. A wee bit too sweet but nonetheless good. I will buy again but they aren’t cheap

Absolutely love this fruit spread. Sweet AND Tarte, and Not sugary. I'm just a big kid still in love with the flavor cherry.

This is the only fruit spread my partner will eat. Pricey for the size but it's still cheaper than the store. Enjoy.

The cherry jam really is good, esp without all the corn syrup and other junk. The down side is they price it quite high for two little baby jars…
