Smells phenomenal and softens hands! Makes your bathroom feel like a hotel.
I love Thymes candles (I use the Fir for Xmas time and the Kimono Rose around the house), and this is the first time buying the hand soap. This is as equally softening for the hands as Molton Brown and L'Occitane but cheaper. I'd compare the fragrance after your hands are dry to light "powdery" jasmine or lily of the valley. It's not cheap smelling, but if you don't want a feminine-style fragrance or are looking for fragrance free, this isn't the hand soap for you. Non-irritating, nourishing, and smells expensive. If you aren't sure which pump soap fragrance is right for you, look up the Thymes perfumes that match. For example, Eucalyptus isn't one note, and Kimono Rose isn't just roses. It's good to check, especially if you hate certain fragrance notes, or you're giving this as a gift.I was slightly annoyed because this was wrapped well but the stem/lip of the pump broke off, so I poured it all into another glass pump bottle I already had. The pump nozzle is plastic and easy to unscrew, so if this is a gift and you're afraid of breakage, I'd mail it to yourself first in case the pump breaks before your recipient gets it. I absolutely loved this fragrance and plan to buy this again in hand soap and candle form.Reminder that all Thymes fragrances (candles, soaps, perfumes) are STRONG and long lasting...if you are in doubt of what something smells like, find out where they sell them in person and do a sniff test first.

One of my favorite Thymes scents
Love this: I chose this and the hand lotion for my guest bathroom sink – it's a great scent for everyone, is good quality, and looks nice on the sink. I just never get tired of it.

An Inexpensive Way To Smell Great
Goldleaf from Thymes continues to be my favorite fragrance, and I'm so glad it's available in different forms. This hand wash is delightful, and makes a great small gift item. As a soap, it lathers well and the fragrance is true to the original perfume, except as a lighter version. Both are wonderfully feminine--I love the soft clean smell. I only wish the hand wash came in the same attractive packaging like other Goldleaf products because it would make a nicer gift presentation. The hand wash has no packaging, but the bottle is still very tasteful looking with pretty leaf designs down the sides. The soap itself is an attractive pearlized color.Goldleaf products are hard to find locally. I'm so glad the entire line, including other Thymes fragrances, can be found here on Amazon. As an added note, some reviewers say this fragrance smells old-fashioned (like grandma). That may be...I dislike many of today's bold or overly-sweet fragrances, so maybe Goldleaf's clean soft scent classifies me as old too. I have given Goldleaf products as gifts, and the women who received them very much enjoy the scent, but they're all middle-aged. If you like the smell of Nantucket Briar by Crabtree & Evelyn (before it was reformulated) you will like Goldleaf too.

Love the scent not the price
Smells good, size of bottle and appearence good for a powder room, cleanses well. Doesn't dry out hands either. The price is over inflated for being a small plastic bottle and small amount of product though.

Amazing scent!!
This soap smells SO good, I can't stop smelling my hands after washing. It has a good lather and my hands feel soft and clean after rinsing, plus the bottle is super pretty!

Smell like my grandmother’s perfume
The soap quality is fine, but the scent reminds me of a women’s cologne from the 1970s although I can’t quite remember which one (Emeraude or Shalimar, maybe?). It has a bit of a powdery smell. It’s not necessarily a bad scent, but to me it doesn’t smell luxurious or like a spa. It’s very strong and lingers on your hands a long time. At least I got to experience a nice “scent memory” of my grandmother.
