I bought this for parting my daughter's 3c / 4a hair when protective styling. I got it last week and used it for the first time last night to part for some simple puffs. It was SO much easier to get a straight part with the fine metal tip than with either our bone rat-tail comb or plastic rat-tail pic. I don't think I will use the actual comb part--it's too fine-toothed for either my hair or my little girl's. But I love the metal tail; it's just perfect for what I bought it for. And I was sold on this particular comb because it comes with the felted case to protect the comb from breaking, protect the people handling it from getting stabbed, and protect surfaces and other tools from getting scratched or stabbed while it's in storage. Comes with a nice protective stiff case. Comb is sturdy and the metal pin helps create clean parts. (Don’t mind the front bangs, they were slept into the other side lol)

I LOVE this comb and the best part is the case it comes in is a friendly reminder to my daughters not to borrow it . My other combs seem to disappear not this one! Also, I like the size and spacing of the combs teeth. I like to have a well groomed look on the casual side so this is perfect for want I want. Great quality and I expect it will last forever !!!

I've never really bought myself a nice comb. Just have had combs lying around from who knows where. My daughter in law had requested a rattail comb for her birthday, and I began the search for a nice comb, rated well by others. I found the HYOUJIN608 Black Carbon Metal Pintail Teaser Rattail Comb for her and then decided to add this comb to it as a set. And then, I decided to get myself this sassoon style comb. Opened up the package and was quite pleased to find a very nice looking, quality comb. It just looks special and is a bit dressy. I then tried it out when teasing and curling my hair and was delighted how well it worked. I have fine hair, and the fine tooth comb side was just right. When I was getting out tangles, I used the wider tooth side. I know it's just a comb, but I'm pretty pleased that for the first time in my life I have a very nice comb.

When I order these combs I underestimated the size, but that turned out to be a blessing. The fine comb has just the right amount of spacing in my opinion. Not too fine like you'd expect from a cheap plastic comb you'd find at the dollar store. My favorite is the wide tooth comb which adds a tamed texture to my hair style. While the description labels these combs as carbon fiber I don't find that to be the case. Speaking ignorantly of course it's not like I tested the material to confirm my suspicions. Regardless of the material these combs are made of I can reassure you future buyers that you won't be disappointed with the quality. Both combs feel very strong and are very light in weight. The pouch, came with the wide tooth comb, is made from a type of felt. It is surprisingly well made and stores the wide tooth comb fashionably. Overall, I'm very pleased and with the price tag you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal for a well made comb.

I'll start with my only complaint. It’s smaller than I thought it would be. It’s thinner than most combs I’ve had. But that said, it’s a great comb. With the first first tooth shorter, it’s great for parting my hair and getting smaller pieces to flat iron. It works perfectly with my flat iron, leading my hair into the plates. It also has a nice little sleeve in which to store the comb. I would highly recommend this comb.

Big comb does exactly what is says. Gets the tangles out. I got this because I am letting my hair grow out and have always had super short hair. When I run a brush through my hair sometimes it’s hurts and snags.Not with this comb. Works great and even use it on my beard at the beginning and end of the day since I have a really long beard. Great quality and very strong. I also like the pouch that comes with it.

Has everything you could possibly want in a comb. Which isn't a lot, but it's exceptional.It's fairly long so both sides can easily be used separately. No static because of the material, which is very high quality. I can only see breaking if you try to do so intentionally, it can bend quite a bit. The "hooked" end is good for working out tough tangles.Overall perfect, would definitely buy another Hyoujin comb if this one somehow breaks.
