The Wright Brothers for Kids: How They Invented the Airplane, 21 Activities Exploring the Science and History of Flight (1) (For Kids series)

I bought two thinking they were for kids as title says. It is not kid friendly, at least not elementary kids. High schools would be able to read and understand.

I bought 2 copies for my grandsons after finding I am related to the Wright Brothers. My dad was also a member of the US Army Air Corps, and later the United States Air Force ~ a proud heritage! A wonderful and informative book for all ages!

Excellent book for children about the history of flight. It includes activities so they can experiment and rediscover how things fly by themselves. I wish the book would also include simple aerodynamics, but it can be combined with other books on the subject.

The actual reading and stories are accurate and valuable information. Many experiments and activities are not very clear or able to be performed as written. This is a better book for reading and the wonderful photographs.

Thorough review of the Wright brothers' experiments, with activities like making a glider and experimenting with lift. I thought the writing style was a bit dry.

I love books and I had this book a long time ago but gave it to a young boy who was interested in planes. This is a great book for kids.

Another of the books given to our grandson on his 11th birthday to teach him about remarkable inventors since he wants to be and inventor.

My 9 year old grandson was absolutely thrilled with this book.

bought to help with a school topic on transport. the practical activities were good alongside the information. clearly laid out and easy to read and understand.

This book is titled 'the Wright Brothers for kids'. I bought this for my plane mad 4 year old but this book is not for kids. Older teenagers yes, kids, no!
