Great training asset
Bought the V2 Foot Pod to pair with my Suunto T3. Pairing was really easy and its very accurate measuring distance you run. Has lots of functionality such as pace or intervals and it is easy to use. Not as clumsy as other brands. Robust and sleek design. Comes with a thorough manual that is clear to follow. Calibration was also pretty simple. Really pleased I bought this product. No complaints at all.

Amazing addiation
this is a really useful addiation to the (already great) suunto training watches.I have a T3, pairing the two was really easy, and although the manual is incredibly thick - the features are pretty easy to set up and use (such as calibrations etc).I have used this an awful lot to help improve my training - im currently training for 7 off road marathons in 7 months. It allows you train at a constant pace and informs you of how far you've been. it also works very smoothly with the heart rate monitor -giving you a complete picture of how hard your working! One thing i have noticed is that the battery doesnt last as long as the heart rate monitor, but they are cheap and very easy to replace. So once again - really great. Suunto really are the bunisnes when it comes to "wrist computers".

Suunto foot pod review
I bought the Foot Pod as I was interested in how fast and how far I was running, when I decide to run a random route, as I usually do. The product did seem to good to be true when compared to the GPS pod, which was close to twice as expensive and with fewer features. However, the Foot Pod showed that it was very accurate on a one mile road course, and required very little calibration. The Speed and Distance menu tells you your current minutes taken to run a kilometer, your distance and lap distance, and when you press the view/back button (bottom left for the sunnto t3c watch), you can view all the heart rate features as well, such as the Training Effect, average heart rate, current heart rate etc. Overall, judging by its performance compared to the GPS POD, I believe that this POD is better value for money. The only fault I have currently found is that the battery compartment is made of a fairly weak plastic and it has been tightened a lot, so when using coins to remove the cover, you can damage it easily, so be very careful when trying to remove this cover.
