Okayish.. I guess.
I was very excited to try this product because I just dyed my hair red and everyone knows red fades sooooo fast!! Therefore I was looking for a good color staying shampoo. I have to say this shampoo is better than most of the store bought ones that I have tried. It keeps the color in longer, but it does seem to dry my hair out a bit. Everyone have different types of hair so I am not saying it will dry your hair out but it sure did mine. I have to use a color locking conditioner with it, but I do like this product and just might be purchasing it again. One thing I must complain about is how long it took to actually get here. It was scheduled to arrive two weeks after purchasing it and it was stillll late 4 days. I understand that it is coming from a different country but come on. I have ordered items even farther away than this one and their products came right on time. By the time I got this product my hair was already for the most part faded so I was very upset about the shipping problems. On a better note, the smell of the product is similar to most shampoo brands and it is very easy to work into the hair. All and all it is a good product. Not GREAT... but good. Not worth the price for sure.

A good shampoo for color-treated hair
This is a good shampoo IF you get the genuine product and not a counterfeit version. The genuine product is a good shampoo for color-treated hair because it doesn't contain color-stripping sulfates. Just be careful when ordering from vendors other than Kerastase and check the ingredients when you receive it. If you see "sodium lauryl sulfate" or "sodium laureth sulfate" in the ingredient list, you're not getting the real deal. Overall, Kerastase products have greatly improved the texture of my hair, but I'm still in the process of trying different shampoos and conditioners in their line to see which I like best. The Bain Chroma Captive is good for preserving color, but the Chroma Riche left my hair softer, which is why I deducted one star.

The BEST Shampoo EVER!
I love this shampoo. I received a sample and bought a full size asap. It not only makes my color (highlights) last longer, it makes my hair very smooth and silky yet still has nice body to it. After a few months I tried Kerastase's Cristalliste for long, fine hair to see if I could get even more body, but that shampoo affected my haircolor and dried out my hair. I immediately switched back to this one and will not stray again. It is a bit pricey, but a little goes a long way. For a sulfate free shampoo, it lathers nicely, so you don't need to use much. It is worth it to have my hair look this good.

Contains Sulfates
The Kerastase I purchased from my hairdresser did not contain sulfates, and this does. Sulfates are listed in the ingredients list toward the top (which I read after I peeled back the label placed over the list). This product smells the same as what I have purchased before; however I did notice that my hair feels a bit dryer and has a " squeaky clean" feel, not what I have experienced from several previous beauty parlor bottles. I am concerned about how this will impact my hair color. My conclusion: I will not take a chance on this again, and I will buy all future bottles from either Kerastase or a place where I can look at the ingredients on the bottle before purchasing. This is disappointing.

Super shampoo
My stylist introduced me to this brand nearly 10 years ago. I have fine, long, color-treated hair and lots of it. Many shampoos are either too drying or leave a heavy residue. Because Kerastase is expensive, I have tried dozens of other brands but always return to Kerastase. This one in particular works best for me, but they have several additional shampoos for different hair types. Their conditioners are fabulous too. I'm buying these products on Amazon for the typical reason, the lower prices!
