Great rich coffee
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I heard about this coffee from several coffee connoisseurs. They were right it holds up well to my lattes and cappuccinos. I still get that rich coffee flavor. It makes great espresso, too. The price is very reasonable, especially for the quality.

The Best Organic Decaf Coffee — Smooth, Pure, and Delicious!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best Organic Decaf Coffee — Smooth, Pure, and Delicious!I’ve tried my fair share of decaf coffees, and I can confidently say that Allegro Organic Decaf Coffee is in a league of its own. What immediately drew me in was the fact that it’s made using the Swiss Water Process, which is a chemical-free method of decaffeination. Knowing that no harsh chemicals were used to strip the caffeine made me feel so much better about my choice. From the moment I opened the bag, I was hit with a rich, fresh coffee aroma — something you don’t always get with decaf. Once brewed, the flavor was smooth, full-bodied, and incredibly satisfying. I picked up on subtle chocolate and nutty notes, and honestly, if you didn’t tell me it was decaf, I never would have guessed! One thing I did notice is that you may need to use a little extra coffee per cup if you like a stronger, bolder flavor. The standard coffee-to-water ratio produced a slightly lighter brew than I expected, but increasing the amount of grounds a bit brought out an even richer, more robust flavor. Totally worth it!Another huge plus for me is that it’s certified organic. I try to avoid unnecessary chemicals in my food and drinks, so it’s a relief knowing that I’m drinking pure, high-quality coffee without any compromise on taste. It also holds up beautifully with any milk or creamer, and it makes an excellent cold brew or iced coffee. I love that I can enjoy a cup in the evening without worrying about losing sleep. If you’re someone who cares about taste, quality, and ethical sourcing, this is hands-down the best decaf coffee I’ve found. Between the Swiss Water Process and the organic certification, I feel like I’ve finally found my go-to decaf. I’ll definitely be repurchasing!Highly recommend it — you won't be disappointed. Just remember to add a bit more coffee if you like a strong, bold cup.

The best decaf choice
Still the best decaf choice around imho for espresso. Full of flavor and just the right amount of bitterness. I’ve tried other brands and keep coming back. Not too thrilled about the price hike but it seems that’s for coffee in general.

One of my favorite decaf coffees to date! The strength and flavor is perfect for my lattes!

Everything about French roast but worse.
So the thing with French roast is that they are harsh and very acidic. Combine that with a decaf bean and you have a pretty problematic product.Tasted quite bad tbh, like extremely harsh bean water, which is what it is.It didn't seem to go well with half and half either. Its not neccasarily bad, its just a French roast as it should be but worse.

My go-to medium decaf
Very good beans, organic, water process. Even though the name includes the word Espresso, this is just a good medium roast. Good value.

Man this is good! Rich and flavorful...oh and fresh-tasting!
Bought to use in my new coffeemaker that uses whole beans. In the past I used to use the Starbucks Verona Decaf that came pre-ground. I've been looking for a good dark roast, yet decaf, coffee that came in whole beans since it appears that Starbucks doesn't make one.So I bought this one with high hopes and I wasn't disappointed!I typically mix equal measures of Starbucks Dark French Roast and their dark Verona Decaf. So I did a similar thing this time around with half of the Starbucks Dark French roast and half of this Allegro organic Decaf. First thing I noticed, which more than mildly surprised me, was that this Allegro Decaf was the SAME EXACT dark color as the Starbucks dark roast. Wow, that was a good start. This told me I was in for a treat since decafs are typically lighter in color. I really couldn't tell the color or shape of the beans from the Allegro vs. Starbucks. After brewing them in my automatic drip Cuisinart machine I tasted the coffee. I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that there was absolutely no difference in the fullness of flavor compared to what I have been drinking all these years. In sum, this is definitely a dark and robust version of a great-tasting decaf coffee. The price is a little bit more expensive than the Starbucks, but well worth it to me for the following reasons:1. It tastes as good as Starbucks2. It's rich in dark roast flavor3. It's decaf, which is great on its own or good to use like I do by mixing it with regular caffinated coffee4. It's ORGANIC...that's an added bonus that makes up for the extra 15% cost vs. the regular pre-ground coffee I've been using5. Finally, it's whole bean; there just aren't too many decafs that come whole bean
