Great cable but I ordered the wrong one as it’s to short

It does give quality sound to my Jotunheim Dac/amp though. The only con is it is very expensive. I had a cheap printer cable from best buy before to supply the data to the amp from my pc. Switching to this the sound is definitely warmer sounding, it made a huge difference in the low end. All in all I am happy with the purchase and would recommend if you can afford to do so.

Don’t really write reviews about cables. This one actually made a difference . The one I had before it was the forest version and also had one of the basic fax machine white ones, which between the forest and just a basic oh crap, fax machine one I don’t think I could tell a difference but this Cinnamon does sound little cleaner in the higher frequencies. This cables actually not snake oil.

I felt this USB cable was worth the money. I tested it out against a couple of other cheap generic USB cables and the Audioquest did seem to sound a little better. Not really more detailed, but more relaxed sounding. And aesthetically it was much nicer. I can't say if the construction is great or not because there are a lot of expensive cables out there that look good on the outside but when you open them up and see how the wires are attached to the connector you can tell the fit and finish inside the cable is mediocre. What I also did like about this cable is that the usb connectors seemed to make a tight connection with my computer and DAC, whereas some USB cables seem to have a more loose connection. With regards to the question of whether or not a USB cable can affect sound, well that's controversial. Can a USB cable change the 0s and 1s riding on it? Perhaps not. But the construction of a USB cable can play a role in how much noise is riding on the cable. That said, the differences between USB cables is really pretty subtle in absolute terms and your system would have to be pretty resolving for you to hear the differences.

Does create additional clarity and definition vs standard everyday usb cables and looks great for those who value those aspects.

Well a lot of people do. But IMHO if you've invested in nice/high quality audio equipment, I think it is worth the money to make sure you get a quality cable. I think AudioQuest products are designed to get the most of your audio gear. I've purchased many of their products over the years, and they have never let me down. Compared to some exotic, high end audio accessories I think the pricing is reasonable for what you get.

I recently purchased Audioquest’s Red River XLR interconnect cables for my Topping D90SE / A90 stack and that just added oodles of detail and spaciousness to the sound. So when I got the Audioquest Cinnamon USB A to USB B cable I was sceptic as to whether I would notice a further difference. But I was completely wrong! I was pleasantly surprised to hear a definite increase in the definition of the sound, now I can hear the texture of a voice and number of fainter sounds to which I was previously oblivious… I am not sure how the science behind it all works but my ears are telling me it does work !

Premetto che non ho la classica attrezzatura megagalattica ipersensibile e quindi ero piuttosto indeciso sull'acquisto, ma facendo musica con il computer ho voluto provare a sostituire il cavo USB della scheda audio esterna. Purtroppo l'unico modo che ho avuto per confrontare era spegnere la scheda, cambiare cavo e riascoltare lo stesso pezzo, quindi facendo passare un po' troppo tempo fra un ascolto e l'altro, ma devo dire che, già con pezzi ed attrezzatura non al massimo della qualità, si sente un bel miglioramento specie nelle alte frequenze e in generale nella profondità del suono, senza contare che con il volume delle cuffie al massimo c'è meno rumore; inoltre il potenziometro del volume non fruscia quando lo si gira. Nel complesso quindi devo dire che la differenza si sente. Il materiale è ottimo, il cavo è bello robusto ma un po' poco flessibile, quindi bisogna trovare la giusta distanza fra periferica e presa USB del computer per evitare che tiri di lato. Ottimo se associato ad un altro prodotto Audioquest che è la Jitterbug, utile per filtrare le interferenze provenienti dall'hardware interno.

Excelente producto, fue notorio la calidad del audio en mi equipo.

Con un modesto equipo de escritorio compuesto por un Dac Topping D50s amplificado por un Monolith Liquid Spark, si se cuidan los detalles se les saca un extra, yo de momento antes de cambiar a otro mejor, he optado por algunas mejoras , cable AudioQuest 0.75m Cinnamon USB A-B , cable Van Damme-Chapado En Plata Pura Ultra RCA , fuente lineal y un adaptador Jack 3,5 cm Hembra a Jack 6,3 cm Oehlbach 35021 quedándome aún algún aspecto y tramo de mejora entre la alimentación,... la fuente de música...calidad de grabación y el último tramo el auricular en mi caso. Entre otros he usado los Sennheiser HD 600 para diferenciar entre cables que por fuera parecen mejores, los típicos con pinta de audiofilo chinos de 25€ , algo aportan comparado con los de serie, pero poco, se quedan cortos más por estética que otra cosa. Este cable para mi a cumplido las expectativas es un imprescindible si se quiere mejorar la calidad de la música y junto otros componentes uno a uno he ido probando y uno me a llevado al otro pues iba notando las mejoras y marcan la diferencia, exprimen tu equipo dando lo mejor de ellos y tus auriculares darán fe de ello si son reveladores se beneficiaran, tus oídos no te engañaran y se pondrán contentos: juega , experimenta y sobretodo disfruta de la música es un gran placer ; )

Audioquest Cinnamon USB A to B is an excellent cable to connect from your laptop through a DAC. A solid cable that produces the clarity of music its stunning. Bass is solid, punchy and deep. The midrange is clear and dynamic, so natural. High end ( treble) is crisp, sharp but not coloured it cuts like a knife. Highly recommended, you want to own it to hear the difference. Very well spend money on what you get. Again highly recommended.
