ENO, Eagles Nest Outfitters DoubleNest Lightweight Camping Hammock, 1 to 2 Person, Powder Blue/Royal

This was THE best nights sleep I've ever had camping! When I went, it was quite cold so I needed my sleeping pad (and let me tell you... learning to sleep in a hammock with a pad and bag can be quite the challenge) to keep my back from freezing. While sleeping in a hammock is a bit more chilly than in a tent, you can easily shift weight and move around unlike in a tent where you move from one side to the other and your hips (or at least mine!) end up seriously painful when morning comes.The set up is super easy - get the slap straps as they are a breeze to use! - and went quite fast. Just make sure you hang it high enough that over the course of the night, your eno doesn't end up on the ground.I've never had any other camping hammock, but I have slept the night in a regular 1 person before and I find that for someone like me who likes to change positions, the 2 person is perfect. Its comfy, packs up easily and is all around amazing!

Short review: buy this hammock, it is perfect.I bought the Double Nest for 2 reasons. It was bigger and more roomy than the Single Nest and I'm not a small guy, AND it was on sale for LESS than the Single Nest when I bought it.This hammock is very light, but durable and strong. It comes packed in its own attached bag which makes a very convenient pouch to stash stuff like your book or a bottle of water in when it's hanging. The pouch also has a compression strap so you can cinch it down even smaller for packing. I slept better than I ever have on a camping trip. The S rings and suspension cords are strong enough to hold two people easily as advertised.You just can't lay in this thing and not feel a peaceful calm. I recommend hanging near moving water, both for the view in the daytime and the soothing sounds at night.

Purchased for my daughter and her hammock towns they create at track and XC meets. Very durable compared to the one I got for myself (off brand) that already has tears and significant wear and tear after minimal use and 3 years). I think you get what you pay for with the hammocks currently on the market and ENO will stand behind their products. Even with slightly higher price points, I have no reservations recommending ENO hammocks.

My 8yo daughter had wanted a hammock for a while. I got this one now that we are home and we both love it! We spend a ton of time in it during work and school -from- home breaks. She reads in it and bird watches. It took 4 minutes to hang. Be sure to order the straps to hang it.

The ENO is so portable and easy to set up, it's wonderful. The DoubleNest is pretty large, so two people can fit, but not necessarily as comfortably as one since the hammock kind of "tacos" around the two of you, mushing you to the middle of the hammock rather than allowing you to use its full surface area. I'm very happy with it though. The fabric that it's made of is very durable and I sat in it wet the other day and the hammock dried pretty fast! Long story short, it's a worthwhile investment! :)

11-14-2017I can't even dock a star, despite the fact that the pocket stiching failed after less than a year.Why can't a dock a star from it then? BECAUSE I LOVE THIS THING TOO MUCH!You don't have to be a rich man or woman to lay in a hammock, you just have to be smart enough to know that you want to.Edit/Update:2-26-2018Still love it.

It's really nice to be able to hang out and relax outside. It fits two pretty easily (although I prefer to be in it myself). No signs of wear and have had it almost a year, using it maybe twice per monthI would recommend getting the atlas straps. They are $10 more but they are much better because they give you more options on how you want to hang the hammock.

Still a favorite almost a year later! this is WELL made! Don't forget to buy straps separately (like I did). This gets plenty of use and is well loved! I would re-buy another if needed/wanted! Yes, get the 2-person one - don't get the one-person one.... it's well worth the tiny bit of extra money for the 2-person one!
