Like that you can air pop right into it, put lid on, shake, all smaller kernals not popped or not popped very well, or run store bought popcorn through the screen on the bottom. Very nice to prevent breaking teeth.

So easy to clean, just pop in top shelf dishwasher. Great for those of us with dental work to protect. Unpopped kernels fall right to the bottom with a few shakes. You can eat right out of the popping bowl.

My husband eats popcorn weekly, and sometimes multiple times a week. After hearing him complain about the excess kernels that don't pop along with the rest, and noticing him having to shake them apart from the edible pop corn during our movie watching, I was thrilled to come across this bowl. I gave it to him for his birthday this month, and have to buy another one so we don't have to turn on the dishwasher too often to ensure one is always clean and ready for use. He loves it. Sometimes small popped pieces fall through the holes, so if the holes were slightly smaller it would be better. Meanwhile, this product has made his popcorn eating more pleasurable. If possible, I would have rated it 4.5.

This thing works great. I have broken teeth before eating popcorn biting down on an un-popped kernel. This strainer shakes the tooth busters out. My wife makes caramel corn for people at Christmas and she sort of took the thing over. The only bad thing about it is the price. Very little competition for something like this so they charge what they want. But I must say I wouldn't trade it back for the money.

We were getting tired of the kernels in our popcorn. This bowl does a pretty decent job of sifting them out. Only wish the holes were a tad larger to catch the slightly larger, partially popped kernels.

This bowl holds almost as much popcorn as those giant containers you get at the movies. If you eat that much or have need for a family size, this is for you, but if you are eating single serve, it's way too big. Picture is of a 2 qt pot. Also, the holes in the bottom are a little large. The kernels fall in, but so do some of the good ones. Not enough to take away a star, however. It takes up lots of room in the dishwasher and in your cupboard. But it does what it says it does. Hope they come up with a smaller one. In the mean time, I'm using a regular small bowl.

I wanted something to sort out the old-maids when I popped popcorn, and this product does the trick.I pour the bag (about 4-cups) into this bowl first. Shake it a bit to get the kernels to the bottom. Empty the tray on the bottom - then repeat the shake once or twice, just to be sure.Then pour the remaining popcorn into another bowl ready to add butter and salt!This product is exactly what I wanted!
