Perfect for short, lazy people like me!
I’m pretty lazy and hate scraping frost, snow and ice from my truck windows. I’m shorter so it requires extra effort to scrape my pickup. My scraping days are over. This windshield cover is so easy to use! Even with my tall truck I can flip this cover on with no problem. The magnets catch and act like a second person helping me. It’s super easy to remove, too. I was worried about it being wet from the frost but just an hour of sunlight was enough that it was dry when everyone else’s windshields still had ice on them. I just roll it over a little bit so the magnets don’t stick to anything and back away while pulling the cover towards me. It’s simple to fold up and toss in the backseat. It’s going to save me a lot of time and energy during the crazy Iowa winters. I also discovered by accident that this ice/snow cover works as a sunshade. We went from 25 degrees one day to 80 the next and my truck was still cool inside after sitting in the pounding sun for 5 hours. I was pleasantly surprised. If you’re short and lazy like me and hate scraping your truck, I suggest purchasing one of these!

They work
We ordered two and they arrived the day before we were due for a winter storm. My husband and I put one on my minivan and the other on his work truck.Fitting it on the truck was easy. The wings that go inside the cab kept puffing up, making it more difficult than it should have been. I had to get in his truck and hold the flap while he closed the door. The other side was more difficult. I had to hold & push while he closed the door, trying not to get my fingers. After 15 minutes, it was on and good. It fit his windshield perfectly. My minivan was just about the same story. However, we found out that there is a non-metal coating in my hood, so the magnets didn't hold. We got it on the best we could. My windshield is bigger and it didn't cover as we were hoping. The next morning, we went out and it had iced pretty good. His cover worked fine. There was just a bit of ice around the edges. My cover was less than ideal. It did cover the parts that needed to be clear, but I had a much thicker and wider edging of ice. They worked well enough, I suppose. I think they are meant for smaller windshields. At $11 each, I'm not going to complain. I will see if there is a cover available for larger windshields.

Easy to use, and good quality
I lived in Bend and got this because I hated scraping off my windshield at 5 in the morning, every morning. It worked great. The magnets were strong and gentle on my car's paint job, and they kept it tacked down in the rough Central Oregon wind. The only downside (that can't really be helped) is all the ice forms on the sheet--as it is supposed to--but this means you can't fold it up right away or it'll all melt and get the sheet all soggy and gross. I lay mine out in the backseat to dry while I'm at work and it's good to go again that evening. It takes some work to put it on (thankfully I have a tiny sedan) but I can see how this might be difficult to put on if you have, like, a lifted truck or something large. But otherwise it does exactly what it says it will do, and it is an amazing price for that. Highly recommend.

Cheap and why not!
The media could not be loaded. I bought a couple of these for Christmas presents for my family but decided to use it today because it was the first snow of the season. Easy to use and practical. I recommend you get in your car in hold the flaps as you close the door while your inside the car, that way its a tighter hold. I did that for both driver and passenger side flaps and then climbed in my back seat to exit the car. I thought that was the best method in my opinion but you can do it the regular way standing outside the door and pushing the flaps inside and shutting the door. I wish it came with something to put over the mirrors but I just used plastic bags and an elastic band to hold it right. Still would recommend. I will check tomorrow to make sure windshield has no ice from cover but so far looks good!

Works great!
My husband bought this for me on a whim, I had just gone back to work and he thought it would help in the mornings when we have snow or ice. I have a 2012 Ford Escape that has a known leak between frame pieces in the front passenger side, where water flows down from the outside and if it freezes, the water will come into the front passenger area of my car. I wanted to put something over that area to prevent water from getting in, and this does the trick! So it was a win win on both issues! I haven't had to scrape ice, and the inside of my car is dry! It feels pretty durable, and the magnets are really secure. I highly recommend buying this one!

Light and compact snow cover
I purchased this cover for my 1988 Honda Accord. So far I am pleased with it. I have used it about 5 times this winter and I might use it in the summer too. It is very easy to set up and it can be removed in seconds. It appears to be well made and is very compact when folded. I store it in the pocket behind the driver's seat, or you can store in in the glove box. When installed I like the fact that it covers the wipers too. It has withstood some strong winds. So far I haven't had any issues with it. I would recommend this to a friend.

No more scraping ice and snow
I got these window covers in the hopes that they’ll make my snowy mornings easier this winter. They were fairly easy to install, though not a breeze. In fact, having a slight breeze blowing made the job a bit harder. I like that they have magnets and bungee hooks to hold them in place, but actually getting them where they needed to go instead of where they wanted to go was a slight challenge. I figured it out though. I also like how there is extra on the edges to close the doors onto: extra reinforcement and more difficult to steal. I bought two: one for front and back. They are definitely more suited to the front, but I made them work on the back too without too much trouble. Can’t rate how well they keep the ice off yet, but I may add to this review when it comes.
