Respect to Zentop!!!
I ordered one of these and it came March 26th 2025. I replace my broken iPad screen but it began doing some ghost typing on it's own & the home button did not work; it would not close apps. The replacement screen was broken as far as I was concerned.I told Zentop about the problem, they did not charge me for the second screen & I received the replacement screen today. The replacement screen works completely 100%. Top notch customer service!!!

Easy replacement
I had originally paid $60 to get my sons tablet fixed from the screen. He once again dropped it and had to get the screen replaced. I purchased this screen kit and honestly it did take a hour to do the job but it was pretty easy to install. I will repurchase again in the future if needed.

Great!! except for flip cover sensor is wonky
Perfect alignment of this replacement touch screen, works perfectly! included tools were extremely helpful! adheres pretty good mostly except in right edge - it's a very thin sticky layer not thick fuzzy tape like wear I had to peel off my iPad to remove my original broken screen. Only issue is the iPad now turns on and off randomly because the inductive sensors in the screen don't work well so I disabled it in the settings - no big deal. apparently, replacement digitizers are known to have that exact issue. I bought a $17 heat gun from harbor freight tools in order to loosen the cracked screens adhesive tape. So for under $40 total got a new screen!!

Second Time was the Charm
The glass was cracked on my iPad Air. I am an electronics hobbyist, so felt up to the repair task. Removal of the original screen was somewhat difficult. In retrospect, I would say not to worry about damaging the iPad; just use a heat gun around the outside frame of the iPad and pull the screen off as best you can. Definitely put packing tape on the screen if the glass is shattered. Go ahead and cut the ribbon cables. Once all the thick adhesive is off the frame, the installation of the glass is pretty easy. All back together, but wait, the screen is not working properly, multiple applications are launching by themselves, and the iPad is even making random Ooma telephone calls. I know I didn't damage anything, so I called Amazon and they immediately sent out a replacement. Installing the replacement took only about 15 minutes. I was able to get the old (new) screen off pretty easily compared to the OEM screen. The iPad works fine now. I am happy with this product.

Screen doesn't sit flush with iPad frame (Added comments to original post)
I am very disappointed with the adhesive quality. The right side and right bottom are not sticking well keeping the screen from seating properly. I have continue to notice that I am getting erratic behavior (Apps open randomly and pages in iBooks scroll while I’m reading). As the screen does not fit properly I decided to take a further look at the installation. I noticed that the connector isn’t smooth to the frame and the tape is actually folded over making it to thick. That is why the glass doesn't sit properly. I should have noticed this when I originally installed it. Very unhappy with product quality. Hoping for a replacement from vendor. Amazon has decided to allow me to return it, but they are assesing a restocking fee. You don't restock a defective item. I will be purchsaing a replacement, but definetly not from this vendor.

Wish it included the LCD, but it worked well and saved our old iPad.
This was a somewhat tedious repair, but we were glad it worked. If you've ever repaired an iPhone, it's easier because the screen and digitizer are together as one piece. While this wasn't too hard, because it only replaces the digitizer and you have to use your original screen, there are chances for dust and particles to be on the screen. There weren't any included instructions, but I was able to YouTube a how to video. Everything went back together well and we are so glad to have saved the iPad that was previously a giant mess.

Screen looks new again!
My toddler decided to yeet my iPad Air across the bedroom because I had played Mickey Mouse Clubhouse instead of Puppy Dog Pals. The iPad was still 100% functional, but the screen was completely shattered. I began searching for a replacement screen and decided upon this one. It wasn't the cheapest, but still reasonably priced and it came with a set of repair tools. I've never replaced a screen on a device before so an all-in-one repair kit seemed like my best bet. The kit arrived a few days after I ordered it. There were no instructions so I loaded up a youtube tutorial and began chiseling off the screen. Removing the old screen took the longest since it was completely shattered. I did this over some paper towels so that I could easily toss out the shards that fell as I scraped away the adhesive. The final part of removing the old screen was to disconnect it from the LCD underneath. I then cleaned the LCD with the cloth included in the kit making sure any remaining shards were removed and then I connected the new screen. The last part was to adhere the new screen in place which took me a few attempts to get it lined up perfectly with the home button and the camera opening. I powered it on and everything worked perfectly. I've seen some of the other reviews mention ghost-touches, but it's been about a month now since i've replaced the screen and no issues thus far. The ONLY issue I have is due to my own error. I nicked the LCD a few times while removing the old screen and now the iPad has a few dead pixels along the side, which are really not that noticeable. Other than that, it's like a shiny new iPad again without the large repair shop bill and took me about 45 minutes. I highly recommend this kit if you are able to find and follow youtube tutorials.
