These books save the day!
As a special education teacher, I used the Cheerio books for counting, language, and attending skills. The children labelled the objects verbally and/or by signing. The moms liked the activity so much, they bought one of the books.

Love!
Love this book worth the money especially for autistic children with food sensitivities. After using this book and desensitizing my son to cereal he eats it now. Aside from that it’s still a good book and would make a great gift.

My 2year-old grandson enjoys the animals and putting cheerios in the spaces. His 8 year-old sister enjoys reading the captions to him!!

Absolutely LOVE!
The media could not be loaded. My 3 year old son loved this book! It was such a fun activity and he enjoyed eating the Cheerios after he placed them all in. I highly recommend this book! My 1 1/2 year old didn’t care as much. Just wanted to eat the Cheerios and look at the book. Ha

My 2 year old daughter LOVES this book! I love to put her next to a small bowl of cheerios and this book, she gets independent time and I get five minutes to enjoy my cup of coffee. Win...Win!!

Not that interesting, toddler got bored quickly
The media could not be loaded. I didn't have high expectations for this book but toddler currently loves cheerios so thought he would be excited.Nice idea, but turns out almost three year old didn't find it exciting and lost interest pretty quickly.Positives - fun, novel idea, nice bright pictures, child has fun whilst eating cheerios.Negatives- cheerios hard to place in recessed circles (even as adult) as they stick to your fingers. Would have been good to have a sticky back surface like those used for holding mobiles/keys in cars.- as soon as child turns the page all the cheerios fall off (which is expected) but this is frustrating for the child who has concentrated positioning the difficult to place cheerios in the first place.- would have liked the number of recessed circles to have some sort of sequential order for teaching a child to count. Numbers are random 5, 2, 6, 12, 12, 6.To get the most out of this book parents need to be fully engaged and animated (I was hoping our son would have a bit of fun independently for a few minutes but for reasons above he lost interest quickly). It's one of those books that will get an occasional novel selection.

I get the idea but boring
For all the hype around it I don’t really think this was as much fun as advertised I don’t know it might just be me or maybe just have a boring toddler but the Cheerios don’t get stuck in properly and as soon as anything moves they just fall out considering you be playing with a child the chances are you never get to complete the page properly and also did I mention it was boring?

Perfect for cheerio obsessed daughter!
My daughter loves Cheerios and we always have a pot in the nappy bag - so when I saw this book I decided this was the book for us. Safe to say my daughter loves it, she loves filling in all the gaps and then eating the Cheerios off it. Brought it when she was 1, but she only really got interested in it from around 18 months.
