Equipped with a Karakal grip, this dual-purpose mallet-style putter is designed to improve a golfer's stroke at home or in the office. It employs a laser-guidance system and can also be converted to full conformance with USGA standards so it can be used on a course. As a practice club, the putter employs a laser-generating cartridge and special sole plate. From the putter's face, a laser beam shoots to an electronic target. When the laser beam paints the center of the target, the target displays a red light and emits an audible tone, signaling aim is perfect and the ball can be putted into the target's concave face. The purpose of the laser practice system is to improve muscle memory for use on the course with the same putter. The target has a canopy to block sunlight, allowing outdoor practice. Three AAA batteries (not included) power the target. Converting from practice club to playing club simply requires removing three screws and replacing the sole plate and laser cartridge with the playing-club's sole plate and a weight cartridge. Engineering ensures most weight is behind the putter face's center, which is smooth-milled without burrs and ridges. The sweet spot is nearly 2 inches wide so off-center hits rolls at the same speed as center hits. The putter comes with a USGA-conforming 125-gram weight cartridge allowing for a head weight of approximately 342 grams and overall club weight, including shaft and grip, of approximately 528 grams.
