I really love these scissors! I was searching for a pair of scissors to replace my old rusty scissors that I use for everything around the house. Most of the scissors that I tried were either too heavy, or too large, or had very small finger holes, or had very large finger holes that felt awkward. I really love my old scissors and wanted to find the same type of shape and size and weight in the new pair. These are described as hair cutting scissors, but they looked exactly like what I was searching for. I decided to take a chance and purchase them. I am so glad that I did!The first thing that I did when they arrived was to remove the finger rest. Then, I removed the extra rings in the finger holes. That is all that it took to turn these hair cutting scissors into general, all purpose scissors! They really work great for everything! They cut everything so smoothly and easily and, with the muffler, they are so quiet. The finger holes are very comfortable without the rings. I only cut my hair a few times a year, to trim the ends, and I am sure that these will work great for that also. Meanwhile, I enjoy using them for everything else every single day!

I bought these hair scissors because they were very affordable, men's, right-handed hair scissors for at home use for inexperienced or firt time self hair cutters or barbers. Professional , sturdy, sharp, easy to handle and vrry comfortable to use. I'm glad I bought this pair because I like having the option of using either straight cut scissors or the ones for layering styling Erich workperfectly . I'm very happywith my purchase and they were so affordable for professional grade shears.

The only reason I am giving four stars and not five is because I am not a professional hairdresser. However, I do trim my own hair and these scissors are the perfect size and fit for my right hand and seem to trim the hair smoothly. Overall, I am very happy with these scissors.

I think they are very good quality for the price. I use them to trim my dogs hair. They work well and seem to hold up well.

These are nice for cutting hair. They are sharp and easy to use at a great price.They also look great and come in a protective cover which keeps them nice and safe. I am a satisfied customer.

The reason this is getting 3 stars is because it's twelve dollars. I could almost go 4 stars at that price, BUT, the thing that bothered me the most is the rubber stopper (sorry don't know the technical terms for all the parts) looks like it was super glued into place... there's definitely some dried residue that looks exactly like dried superglue holding the rubber stopper in place. Also the "adjustable" screw for the scissor tension I couldn't move by hand at all, despite the knurled knob that suggests you can hand adjust it. Oh, and the rubber stopper with dried glue all over it also has a knurled knob, not sure why. They are not particularly sharp or smooth. But for 12 dollars, if you're just getting into hairdressing and want some scissors to practice with that are the correct ergonomics to pro scissors, these would work. I would also assume they cut decently (haven't tried them yet). A good practice pair of scissors so you don't ruin expensive shears. They are TWELVE DOLLARS. That's nothing. And why I could almost go 4 stars, but no... I can't. These scissors are garbage. but 12 dollars is pretty cool.
